sos i need journalling help. i’m currently using a super clunky journal that i honestly haven’t been vibing with or really wanting to write in. i’ve has it for over a year and have only written 60/300 pages. also it’s so big i can’t bring it places with me. i was thinking about ending this journal and getting a smaller one, but i have never ever done that before. thoughts? is it bad to stop a journal this early on?

If you’re not motivated to use that journal, maybe you can find another use for it, maybe like an at home journal? I prefer using pocket-sized journals for on the go use, so maybe that will best suit what you want too! Here is something similar to what I am currently using.
I don’t think its bad to stop a journal early, just keep creating in the new journal!

suggestions for things to paste in your journal ?i love this blog
This was another ask lost in the inbox; again so sorry for the late response.
Here’s a list of items I usually paste into my journals:
stickers
newspaper/magazine clippings
images I’ve printed from the internet + my archive
old receipts
papers + pamphlets from places I’ve been
candy wrappers, metro cards + more
doodles I’ve torn out from my school notebooks
pages from old books
You can paste anything you’d like! I’ve seen almost everything from flowers and leaves to receipts and old book pages. Your journal is a place to create magic with anything you like! The Journal Sparks book has a lot of ideas that can help spark your creativity if you’re stuck.
Just make sure to use a journal that can handle mixed media so it doesn’t fall apart! I would suggest a mixed media journal like the Strathmore Visual Journal.

FIT Semester In Review – Second Semester
With the new year, came a new semester. New classes, new project also brought on new challenges. Over the past four months, I have learned and grown a lot through my second semester at FIT.
Although I needed some time to log off, recharge and become inspired again, I am back and ready to share SIX things I learned this semester as my freshman year came to a close.
