The Beginning of Artificial Intelligence

Technologies in our world today is an essential part of our daily lives and one could not imagine living without it. From time to time, different kinds of technologies has been made with the purpose of serving and helping us to attain an easier life. As of this moment, the hottest subject discussed in the field of technology is the Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

Artificial Intelligence is an intelligence in contrast with what humans obtain: natural intelligence. The core research in AI began in the 1950s when it was thoroughly observed that there was a linkage between humans and machines.  But the field of AI wasn’t formally founded until 1956, at a conference at Dartmouth College, in Hanover, New Hampshire, where the term “artificial intelligence” was coined by John McCarthy and is regarded as the ‘Father of IA”.

According to some reports, government funding and interest in the field dropped off and not ‘til 6 years when it was revived. It happened for several times but they did not gave up to achieve such enormous project. Atlast, their determination was paid off when they finished one, and another one, and ‘til it was countless. Observe today’s latest AI and you would see a lot of human-like characteristics that they have, controlled by machines. This could be the best thing ever to happen to humanity.

How to thrive in a fast-changing world?

They said that change is the only permanent thing in the world and it is true. Everything in this world is changing, the more years will come, the more our world will be technologically advanced. Talking about technologies our generation now has full of innovations and advance in terms of technologies. These are the reason our world is rapidly changing, but still many people are struggling because of the changes which cannot be adapt by many. So how does everybody thrive in a fast changing world?

The best and easy way is to adapt new challenges. Like for example, in your class your teacher has given you a task which will be done through the use of technologies. How will you learn if that simple challenges you encountered would be ignored by you and just let it pass. It is not helpful if you keep on doing that. It's only yourself can help you, go ahead and accept every challenges you will encounter.

Another way is keep on trying new things or in short keep learning. They say that the best way to learn is to try new things. Everyday we encounter so much new like new challenges and new problems that need to be solved and addressed. How come you will learn if you keep on pulling yourself to try on? It's not the right thing to do, learn things, learn to face new challenges and try to do things you think you are capable with and by that it will help you thrive in a fast-changing world.

What are the problems caused by discrimination?

Discrimination is treated unfair to someone else. In our society many of people experience descrimination in a different forms. Sometimes because of their differences they are not recognize as being human person but instead they are apart from the society where they belong and yet they are neglected. In fact, they are facing so much problem through out their lives.

One of the biggest problem that caused by discrimination is emotional and physical impact of a person.One of the example is when a person feel rejection surrounded by people. It results anxiety, sadness, depression and feeling of emptiness. They are not able to socialize others because of what society think about her or himself or should I say they feel self-pity. In educational impact, when a person facing harassment or bully in school. They feel broken and hatred. The possibility of a students who encounter this, are to quit studying in that particular school or leads to low grade. In fact, the society or the environment itself may distruct the future of individual.

The best solution of this problem in the society is we need to respect each other's differences. We treat other people in a same way as our family. We have no right to judge and underestimate the person's capability.

What is success?

Someone who has a successful life must be able to set goals and accomplish those goals. There is a common denominator for a truly successful life, and it is to include wisdom, faith in a higher being, and peace. Wisdom is the ability to have common sense and good judgment. Faith is an understanding that we are just part of the creation of something bigger than us that is unexplainable. Success is never reached unless you have peace.
