“ that’s sso pretty… ”
Galapagos looked at the origami flower with big ol eyes before holding up the pretty flower. It was of numerous colours, not limited to shades of purples and blues. It appeared to be as deep a colour as the night sky. Truly a miraculous specimen. She reached an empty hand out to exchange it for the origami flower.
“ h here you ggo! ”
❝ I’ve got more of those if you want some! ❞ After carefully placing the flower in his shirt’s pocket, Jiji proceeded to pull out a lot of origami shapes. Hearts, stars, cranes, flowers and more. It’s a nightmare made out of paper.
❝ If you give me enough time I can probably also make a life-size you!❞

odd eyes adjusting their sights to the clearly overly ecstatic teen , personally it wasn’t that he liked the flames he produced in fact it was the opposite.
“ a magician hm ? i suppose they could come in handy in the field ” well it heavily depended on what he needed for the ‘ trick ‘ in the first place but he should probably let sabo know , incase of mishaps.
“ … what was your actual mission again ? ”
JIJI was slightly disappointed at Rekka’s reaction, but he had never expected to cause a great impression from the get-go. Seasoned agents from the Revolutionary Army would humour his shenanigans from time to time, but surely it was hard to impress the veterans. Next time it had to be bigger and stronger.
❝ W-Well... I’m helping logistics out, gathering what they need to prepare for following missions and came by to ask what you need... but thought I might bring you something to lighten up the mood a bit. ❞ Quite literally.

Emil lifted the basket for Jiji to drop the pack into and reached up for another. With her haki, she couldn’t sense any difference between those and any other packs. Under her fingers, she felt the ridges and dips typical of rectangular biscuits like crackers. Still, it wouldn’t mean those were graham kind. Emil always needed help when shopping, be it the shopkeeper or someone accompanying her.
She had plans, and they required a lot of graham crackers. Sure she could bake some herself, but why when storebought were perfectly fine? It would be like a writer making their paper and ink; while technically possible, why would they?
At his gesture toward his back, Emil tilted her head and stepped to the side. She eyed him as if looking around his shoulder at what felt like two sheathed daggers. Without them out, she couldn’t say much about them, other than there seemed to be two gems on their pommels. Or at least something cut into a gem-typical shape; for all Emil knew from there, those could be playdoh.
His comment gained a chuckle. “Yes, I bet it would cause a misunderstanding if someone entered an aisle with two people, one of which held their weapons out.” Would they cry robbery? Probably. Was that Jiji’s concern, or was he uncomfortable showing those blades to the world in general? The way he accented the ‘home’ was odd.
“I need a lot of mascarpone or cream cheese. Whichever they may have.” Emil waved him toward the end of the aisle. “If you spot a jar with olives, grab two.” She ever him and snickered. “Or three. Any other snacks than olives that you like? We can grab them as well if you wish to.”
SUDDENLY Jiji shuddered, paying close attention to her actions as she touched the items in the basket. He leaned forward slightly and observed her face carefully, widening her eyes as he noticed the pale tone in her eyes. His carelessness had made him overlook a detail such as her lack of sight, something that made him quickly rethink his next steps.
He scratched his neck nervously and a soft pout appeared in his face, trying to control the shame he felt for his behaviour. A long sigh escaped his lips and, once again, Jiji’s face returned to a broad and bright smile. ❝ Yeah, we still need to finish shopping and causing a scene would be a mess. How about we do this? ❞
With a swift movement of his fingers, one of the daggers unhooked from his belt and Jiji carefully dropped it in the basket. It wasn’t a big deal, after all. It wasn’t as if he couldn’t react to any attack from his companion. ❝ If you check them discreetly, maybe we can get away with something like that. I’ll go search for the other things.❞
Jiji’s boots tapped on the floor, making a gentle squish as he searched around for the final items. He grabbed the cheese on his left hand as his fingers brushed over the jars, looking for the olives. ❝ Two or three jars... Hey, wait! D-Don’t make me sound like an olive freak! ❞ His hands clutched the jar, debating whether to actually follow her demand. ❝ I’m merely someone who enjoys the savoury flavour, come on... ❞

“…?” The wolf’s ears perked with the coming of his comrade. Legoshi peered down at the puppy-faced man with some confusion. “…Mail? You mean someone sent me a letter? Does the army even… take letters like that?”
He couldn’t imagine anyone who would possibly send him, of all people, a letter. Legoshi held up the cutesy letter to his eyes and examined it curiously. “…Oh. It’s from you?”
Jiji seemed rather excited about this thing. What could it be? Carefully, he folded back the envelope to not ruin the drawing and looked at what was inside…
JIJI recounted in his mind the things he had stuffed in that envelope. “Have a nice day” notes and of course some obligatory paper hearts. He didn’t feel an ounce of shame over such a corny gift, he had become used to others humouring his antics, after all.
❝ Not business-related, though I doubt you thought that with such a wrapping ❞ Jiji chuckled as he observed the wolf’s careful handling of the letter. ❝ Thought it would be a nice change of pace, even I feel overwhelmed delivering so many telegrams and reports. ❞

“If you think that will be good, then we’ll do that…!” Yamato hummed. How fun it was to be trying new food not of Wano creation!!! Of course he had only recommended what he knew… he never had known anything else! Besides, well, no food at all… “Have you had oden? It’s the best…”
❝ Well, I’ve read books on it. ❞ But never had he tasted the dish before. A seasoned traveler, a man who had tapped nearly every corner of the Grand Line, and yet he had to try a simple dish. ❝ I guess that doesn’t count, you can’t really eat knowledge... ❞

Yamato watched with intense focus and elation. The bread was surprisingly thin! The way of making a pizza was so complicated, wasn’t it? The samurai was no chef, that’s for sure. “Oh! You put even more on it??? That’s amazing… What else do you think should go on it? My favorite is oden, but I didn’t think that’d go on any pizza!”
❝ No. No oden on the pizza. ❞ Though a smile continued on his lips, Jiji’s eyes were twitching nervously. He could feel it, this guy was going to derail the process to the point of no recovery. ❝ Something that’s less soup-ish and more actually edible with pizza. How about some nice dill and brie cheese? ❞

The girl had done several years of ballet so she had become accustom to spinning. She simply giggled at his worry. She wouldn’t get dizzy!
More importantly, did he say dragons?! “Oh, for real?!” She blurted out, already excited by the prospect. Her mind almost immediately went to gifting an origami dragon to Sabo. “You’re so cool Jiji-bro!”
She ran off to her room, returning with a construction paper book she would normally use for colouring or cutting. “What colour do you want?” She asked, plopping the book onto the table.
❝Well, a nice old lady from my last mission taught me.❞ He said, nodding with energy. ❝But it will be a bit hard, so pay attention as we make them, okay?❞
Jiji’s eyes shimmered with joy, observing the coloured paper. ❝So many colours!❞ ´He awed with excitement. He loved spending time with Birdie, and his endeavours to bring joy in the tough ambience of the Revolutionary Army felt more fun the more hands involved.
❝How about we go for... A light blue dragon for the chief and a big yellow star for Koala? ❞ He counted in his mind as slowly flipped through the pages. ❝Oh, and I’m heading East to visit commander Betty. Shall we make some more for them too?❞

“Salmon always tastes good!!” Woe to the Jiji, Yamato was no picky eater. He had to grow up that way, he will accept any and all food - including the devilish combination of salmon with pizza. And he was looking so excited about it too… “Show me how you make it!”
❝ Yes... In a pizza it will also... taste good...❞ Jiji contained a defeated sigh and the dough hit the counter with a loud thump. His eyes were glowing as he rolled the dough, this was going to be his masterpiece even with the salmon. ❝ And now I just have to put the toppings on it. What else do you want with your ehr... salmon? ❞
son-of-beast
“Can you put salmon on it??? That’s my favorite!” He’ll go with that since he didn’t see oden as being a reasonable kind of food to put on this ‘pizza’ thing. Not that he knew salmon wasn’t a very good option either. At least he wasn’t picky. If meat was involved, he was bound to enjoy it one way or another.
❝ T-That’s a first for me but of course! ❞ He could feel it, it would smell fishy, taste fishy... But he was trying so HARD to not come out rude. How the hell do you use salmon on a pizza without making a mess? ❝Maybe... We could try it with some dill, I can make it taste good somehow! ❞
— I initially made this for myself to know how to draw and describe his appearance but then I started wondering where he keps the paper hearts and cute notes and I needed to reveal his secrets
