Cassie paused, glancing at the stranger who had just approached her, offering a friendly smile. "Oh, no judgment taken," she replied with a chuckle, her eyes reflecting the ambient lighting in the bar. "And thank you, but it's not really luck. Just a bit of practice and maybe some natural talent," she added modestly.
She gestured to the pool table. "Care for a game? I promise not to show off too much," she teased, sliding the pool cue toward the newcomer. Cassie was always up for a friendly game, and it was a good way to make new acquaintances in this town.
She appreciated the company, it was refreshing and expectation-free, which was something she was in desperate need of. She did not need to play an act, she could be herself which was a rarity with the Gemini expectations. "Do you play a lot?" She inquired, tilting her head at the introduction of the cue on the table. She retrieved it, using the chalk before moving to aim, leaning over the table, head low to aim before skilfully sending a ball into the end pocket. A gleeful expression met with the other, a grin spreading widely. "You know, I haven't played for the longest time, but it seems I have still got it." A tease in her tone, a chuckle leaving shortly after. "I'm Liv, by the way."
