Love this so much - and the caps you select are so great. It's hard not to let our scars define us, but it is so deeply a part of us. What a great blog. xo, kat

Dang it I just wrote a reply but it didn't go through :( But anyway, thank you! There's a teeny part of me that loves her scar on a less superficial level and that's basically it - it's a part of who she is and what she's been through. And instead of trying to constantly hide it and cover it up, she chooses to embrace it. She's a fighter and it reminds her of what she's been through. The scar is probably one of my favorite things about Gemma and that's saying a lot since I love her more than I love most human beings.
