predictions for the next episodes of SU!!                       spoilers down below!

The SDCC teasers came out a while ago, but I still want to give my thoughts on them since this blog has been seemingly dead for the last couple months. ( I say seemingly but it really has been dead. we picked an awful time to make a comeback seeing as we thought new episodes would be coming out, but that wasn’t the case.)

Now the first thing I want to discuss is the Lion missing poster. I wanted to discuss this first because at best I think this is just going to be a normal episode where the focus is lion is missing. I don’t think it will be a very plot heavy episode. I could be wrong however and it could be Lion 5! We may discover more about rose or lion in this episode but I'm p sure that's all we will get out of it. Which isn’t to say that isn’t good! we do need more info on lion/rose, but I don’t think whatever we get will be mind-blowing or super relevant.

Lars of the stars was the episode the SDCC trailer focused on the most. We even got some footage of the episode itself! I think that this is going to be the episode where we find out the most about gem culture this season. I’ll post my actual reviews of the episodes when they come out, but for now, I'm just focusing on my predictions.<

Now for the real meat of this discussion. What will happen with the diamonds and the other homeworld gems? I honestly think that the diamonds will stay the antagonist throughout this season. I don’t see a reformed blue diamond happening this season if at all. If yellow is the one who shattered Pink, I could see Blue apprehending her with the help of white diamond (if white diamond didn't shatter pink). I don’t see it getting as far as joining the crystal gems or anything. Blue has her own people to look after and it would be irresponsible to leave them to go live on earth. Also if one of the diamonds is apprehended for the crime, even more, gems will need a new diamond. 

For an actual prediction, sadly I do think Lapis is gonna run away. It just seems too likely. She isn’t the most stable minded gem. Lapis has shown in the past that its better to roll over and accept defeat. When she took Steven's advice and fought, she ended up in an abusive fusion with Jasper. She's tried Fight and now she's gonna go for Flight. I don’t think she'll be gone forever, however. It doesn’t seem likely she would disappear forever. I think she might turn up to either save the day or there will be an episode dedicated to finding her. If it's the first one that would be great bc im a sucker for generic movie tropes like that. 

Honestly, I have nothing else really to say about the new episodes except I hope they come out soon!!

Okay, so everyone is dying to know what truly happened to Pink Diamond. Whether it was one of the other Diamonds plotting against their own, or if it was either Rose Quartz or Pearl or another CG we haven't met, or one of Pink's own court members that wasn't a CG (as far as we know). But I'm just wondering, once we get said information, what are we going to do with it? How will the plot progress based on how the truth is presented? I don't have an answer, but its just something I'm wondering, and I'm very open to conversation about it. ♬ Mod Pearl ♬

What if gemswhorunablog are the dead!? That is way they came back after a year because 1 represents 1 ghost! 1 ghost is a ghost thing and it means someone is dead!
