The Round-Cut Halo Earrings
Marco's Review of our Sabrina Ring.
"The ring was perfect. The customer service impeccable. Way to go!"
"I'm obsessed -- it's everything I wanted!"
A customer review of our Isabella Ring.
We purchased this ring as a replacement for my original wedding ring, which was lost. We figured that our fifth anniversary was the perfect occasion. I was drawn to this design immediately but was incredibly hesitant about the flat bottom -- I was also hesitant about ordering a ring online where I couldn't try it on. I'm glad I took the leap -- the flat bottom makes the ring incredibly comfortable. My ring is in white gold with a black onyx center stone and moissanite accents -- the gems are beautiful! I'm thankful that I was able to design a ring that reflects my personal style.
Not only is the ring stunning, but the CS team at Gemvara is incredibly helpful! After ordering I realized that the delivery date for the ring would be when I was away from the house. I contacted CS and received a response within just a few hours, and they happily upgraded me to overnight shipping. Then, the ring arrived three business days earlier than scheduled! It's fantastic to have an experience with a company with great CS and beautiful jewelry.

From Mike:
"Absolutely stunning. The ring looks and feels like a family heirloom that has been passed down the ages. My wife loves it and has even replaced it as her wedding ring. I just wish we had ordered from Gemvara to begin with.”
From Lance:
"Breathtaking. I bought the Alhambra band with amethyst stones to match my wife's wedding ring I purchased earlier this year. Both rings exceeded our expectations in quality and craftsmanship, not to mention customer service, price and delivery. I can't imagine going anywhere else….”
An eye-catching, gorgeous gemstone and a rare form of the gem chrysoberyl, alexandrite's discovery traces back to 1830 in Russia's Ural Mountains. The gemstone was discovered on Alexander II's 16th birthday and was thusly named after the future Czar. The gemstone's red and green hues mirrored those of the Imperial Russian flag, greatly enhancing its popularity throughout the empire, and for centuries to follow. Finnish mineralogist Nils Gustaf Nordenshold's new discovery was widely believed to bring good luck and fortune to its bearer.

Citrine, a yellow quartz gem, adds a squeeze of lemony sparkle to any jewelry design. Often paired with amethyst, the purple quartz gem from the opposite side of the color wheel, citrine complements greens, pastels, reds, and earth tones too. Citrine is a warm golden color.
Gemvara's citrine has a bright sunny color that will add a warm glow to your wardrobe.

Perhaps because of its depth and richness, Amethyst has always been associated with intense emotion. For that reason, the legend of its origin is fitting, depicting a tale of revenge, devotion and immortal remorse.
The Greek myth that tells the story of the stone’s origin underlies this idea: feeling jealous and unappreciated, Bacchus, the god of wine, took his frustrations out on a young maiden named Amethyst. When he released his tigers to kill her, the goddess Diana took pity on her and transformed the girl into clear quartz to protect her from being eaten alive. Some variations affirm that in his guilt, Bacchus poured wine over the quartz to honor the girl. Others say it was his tears that fell upon Amethyst and gave her the noted hue.

Since the word sapphire is synonymous with the color blue, many people don''t realize that sapphire comes in other colors, like pink, yellow, and white.
Yellow sapphire deserves more recognition. Its sunny color is an instant mood-enhancer on the grayest day. Rare and beautiful, yellow sapphire complements yellow gold and takes center stage set when contrasting against white gold and diamonds. Its durability means its beauty will last as long as diamond's too.
