Genderpelagic
A single gender that can be described by, or is made up of, many different genders, all layered upon each other in a way that feels like the layers / zones of the ocean. Where the different layers meet the gender might feel a bit blurry, like it is mixing together, or that it isn't easy to distinguish which layer is which.
Occasionally, some of the gender/s within each zone may float up or sink down to a different zone for various reasons. Within each zone, they can also feel like they are floating around.
What each layer means can be slightly different depending on the person, but the basics are:
The gender/s in the Epipelagic / Sunlight Zone are those that are the most outwardly expressed and/or openly shared. The sun shines directly here so these gender/s are the clearest. This can either be because these are the genders that one knows for sure they identify with, or it can be that these are the gender/s that are most openly shared or presented as.
The gender/s in the Mesopelagic / Twilight Zone are those that are hidden just beneath the surface. Direct sunlight doesn't penetrate this deep, but still some dim light filters in from the Epipelagic Zone. This could be because the gender/s here are also openly expressed, but only to a smaller group of trusted individuals.
The Bathypelagic / Midnight Zone is the first zone to receive zero light. Here might lie the gender/s that one knows they identify as, but might not feel ready to share, or that possibly due to the lack of light they can only partially see what gender/s are here. Things begin to get a little ambiguous, and one might test out different labels to try to figure out what is happening or what fits.
Below that is the Abyssopelagic Zone / The Abyss. Here it is equally lacking light, but being even deeper down it may be harder still to determine what gender/s are here.
The gender/s in the Hadalpelagic Zone / The Trenches are the most shrouded in darkness. This is either because the gender/s are so deep down and hidden in pits that one cannot see or even comprehend what they are, yet they know that something is there, or that these gender/s are very personal and secret and only for them to know about.
This gender is not fluid, but depending on experiences it could be considered flux. It is CIN and may be considered a subset of Gendervast / Vastgender.
The 5 stripes of the flag each represent a zone of the ocean, from a light blue for the Sunlight Zone down to pure black for the Trenches.
Coined by myself, for myself, to finally put into words what I have been trying to grasp for the longest time. Anybody who relates to this experience may use this term, no credit required.
