Loved the idea from @sonicasura about how some objects, like old mirrors, can reveal Leon's true form, and what better place than to encounter one these mirrors than in the overly lavish Raccoon City Police Department?
Leon doesn't even notice it at first, too busy clearing out the building of lingering undead (That he could 'sense' for same strange reason) with Claire, only for him to stop when he heard her gasp sharply.
He snaps his head towards her, trying to figure out what potential threat she's seeing that he doesn't, and when he sees she's looking at something behind him, he turns....only to freeze.
It's a mirror, but the reflection looking back at him is nothing he expected. Everything around him stills as he stares at the ghoulish creature before him. This is him, he realizes, his heart sinking as the haunting revelation washes over him. The 21 year old body he was in was just a costume, something to wear to blend in with the masses. The reflected skull clacked it's teeth as he clenched his jaw, his chest rapidly heaving. Death. He looked liked-
He's snapped out of his haze by Claire. She's looking at him with a mixture of fear and concern, her eyes darting back and forth between him and the mirror, clearly trying to figure out what was going on. He opens his mouth to explain, but for once the words seem to escape him.
((Seeing at how upset Leon is about his fucked up reflection, Claire gives him a break at his lack of explanation, and she instead jokingly tells him not to eat her soul. He tries to joke back, but it's obvious he's still shaken by what he saw. Meanwhile Claire is trying to figure out why she's so affected after seeing Leon like that. Sure the skeleton thing was ass shittingly terrifying, but there was also a DEEP sense of sadness she feeling too that caught her off guard. She barely knew the Leon, so why was she so personally upset about his current state?))
