Hello. I just wanted to ask, what happened to Generations school tv? It’s been a while.
Basically, it’s on indefinite hiatus. Kind of like GENEsubs as a whole. It’s hard to sub videos since it takes so much time and everybody has so little extra time to do it. Particularly translators are hard to find as well. Me and the person who was translating and timing this show got busy so it kinda fell to the background of our lives which is basically what happens on every show.
I think I’m probably just not gonna do full shows if this team ever comes off hiatus. I’ll just do one off appearances and things like that. Even if I ever learn Japanese myself I don’t know if I’d ever be able to commit to a full show. I took one year of Japanese but I never really got good at it or was able to continue learning. I’ll probably pick it back up WAY into the future. Right now I’m actually minoring in Korean. Anyway, that’s off topic.
Thanks for asking and sorry to everyone whose been frustrated with this “team” (not even really a team anymore, just me tbh) over the years but please understand it’s really hard to find people who have time to do translation work free of charge.
