Whoop de whoop, a pinned post! (Organistation? Yes, this is her)
Hello nerds, I'm Freya, a 17 year old A-level student who has zero organisational skills and is trying to improve. I study three A-levels, Geography (predicted a B but I'm going to get an A if it's the last thing I do), History (predicted B) and English lit (predicted B). I also do EPQ, which is an extended project qualification (predicted an A, not sure how tho).
I love geography with all my heart and am planning to do a BSc in it at uni (anyone dissing geography, watch your backs, I'm coming for you).
I like helping people, so if you need help with any of the subjects I do, I'll try my best (I'll post the specifics later)
As I've already said, if you don't like geography, fight me, I steal kneecaps and bite
Specifics of my subjects
Geography:
-Physical: Natural hazards, coasts (my beloved), and water and carbon cycle
-Human: Changing places, global governance, and population and people (or something like that, I haven't started it yet)
History:
-Germany 1918-1945
-Tudors 1485-1603 (I think, I'm shit at dates for a history student)
English lit:
-American literature (Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, maybe others???)
-A Dolls House, Christina Rossetti Poetry
-Hamlet
Coursework:
-Geography: coastal management affecting beach profiles
-English lit: A Streetcar Named Desire
-English lit (again): comparison of "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Houssein and a selection of poetry by Maya Angelou (I'm focusing specifically on how women are presented in literature)
-History: we don't talk about the history coursework.
