Bara Bada Bastu is my all time Eurovision favourites

With me sadly having to boycott the Eurovision Song Contest we held one final house competition to crown my all time Eurovision favourite and it is KAJ with Bara Bada Bastu who were declared the winners

With the national juries KAJ scored consitently throughout and never left the top spot being the only act to score 300+ points as they won the jury vote with 305 points followed by Duncan Laurence with 298 points and Loreen with 263 points

The televote agreed with the juries as KAJ came out on top with 435 points but ranked Loreen second with 412 points and put Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil in third with 367 points

Once the votes were combined KAJ and their song Bara Bada Bastu were declared my all time favourite Eurovision Song scoring an overall total of 740 points

French Queens

The World Championships in Division 1A was an extremely competitive tournament which saw France stun Budapest to win and earn promotion to the top tier in 2027

Nobody could've seen this coming especially how France only two months prior had a lacklusture performance in Milano as they didn't get any wins and had a negative goal difference

Shock in Budapest

While we still have a while to go before our division in November the rest of the IIHF held their World Championships with Division 1A providing a thrilling tournament in Budapest

But the overall result proved to be quite a shock as no one would have predicted Frnace would be the ones to win promotion

Florida Girls

After Milano the GM of the Florida Panthers teased something big coming for Florida regarding women's hockey naturally people put two and two together and got five

What actually transpired was the Panthers launching a new program for women's hockey starting next season which not only will help grow the game but could open doors for a PWHL Takeover Tour game in Stanley's barn

Curveball

We've reached that point now where the stress of expansion is killing us and it's now gotten even worse as there's potential that markets who haven't been on the Takeover Tour might swipe teams off more viable markets

Now I think this could pay off as it's time to start taking big gambles but Pluto & Lady are very hesitant and rightly so

Japanese Milano Threads

On this edition of the Olympic Hockey Show I continue reviewing the jerseys and this time its Japan who have me lost for words as their jerseys are bland and confusing as I can hardly tell what makes theirs stand out from the crowd

Two Million

On March 25 2026 the PWHL officially welcomed two million fans in attendance with games taking place in both Minnesota & Chicago

Once again another milestone achieved by our league in such a short space of time but this one feels extra special as the Purple Trio's footprints are on that statistic following our trip

German Milano Threads

On this edition of the Olympic Hockey Show I continue reviewing the jerseys and this time its Germany who give me my favourite jersey set from Group B as they utilise their colors perfectly

The contrast between the two is brilliant and they even found a way to do a uniwue spin on the sleeve pattern which is something that sometimes really bothers me on a jersey

Politically Charged

Last week something bizzare happened in the nation's capital as the prime minister of Canada and the president of Finland paid a visit to the Ottawa Charge for a little scrimage

If you ask the Purple Trio we find it a bit odd especially as the Charge are in the midst of a playoff push and it might have been a better idea to pester the Senators
