No, that totally makes sense. Basically the show just makes what was already going to happen more extreme. It’s one of my favorites! I love Max. He’s so done with everyone’s shit all the time.
Yes, and somehow the extremity is never overdone! I get sucked into the drama each time. Max is a cutie, and I know they only cut to the taping from his own camera for like 2% of the show but he still totally needs to be there.
Okay, so I know basically all reality TV is staged, but Catfish has to be real, right? I need it to be real.
I think I read an article once that said the stories are real, but the show isn’t, if that makes sense? So like, people probably do come up to Nev and Max with their real stories and experiences, but everything on the screen is staged . . .You can tell I watch this show religiously.
That seems to be the general trend. It doesn’t count much toward applying for schools anyway. That works. I think if I didn’t live in Ohio I wouldn’t be so antsy to go somewhere else, but here I am anyway. Thank you, Georgia is nice too. We’ll see. I firmly believe I’m good enough to get in, but I’m also a realistic person so I’m not going to hype it up too much.
Well, of course it doesn’t count much for Juiliard. I mean, it’s Juiliard. Ohio? That explains a lot of more behind why you want to leave. No offence. I’ve only been back home a few days and it already feels like I never left to begin with.

That’s how I feel, and that’s why I stayed in the city for a week. It’s my senior year anyway, academics are a joke at this point. Him being….? Your boyfriend, I’m guessing. Thank you. I’m Ivy, by the way. Ivy Hamilton. Honestly, I’m not sure. Probably because I know I’m good enough. Now it’s just up to them to see that as well. I made it all the way through the audition process.
My senior year I just went all out and did all the things my schedule prevented me from doing the year before. My grades definitely dipped but it didn’t matter, ballet is more my obsession anyway. Yeah, my boyfriend. Well, my boyfriend and my family. I have everything I need around me for now, no need to wander. Ivy’s such a lovely name; I’m Georgia. It’s the law of attraction, this is practically under your belt already.

A little. I’m missing dance rehearsals for a couple days and practically living underneath blankets, but it’s for the best.

Probably not, but nausea and night sweats don’t sound very appealing to me either.
Dance. And I’m actually already here. I’m staying with a friend so I figured I could get here a little early, and college visits excuse you from school. That and my GPA is great so none of the teachers really care.
A juiliard audition should excuse you from anything; it’s a freaking juiliard audition. I remember when I was sixteen and obsessed with that school, but staying at a dance academy closer to him was a better fit for me. But I’m so excited for you! And you’re so calm. How is that possible?!

Oof. I’m sorry; it must be rough if that’s really a legitimate concern. Drinking hot water with lemon juice might help– at the very least it won’t put you in the ground.
God, I would always gag whenever my mom tried to give me hot water with lemon juice and plead for her to add an entire honeypot. Thanks, I guess this is expected to come with the season, the cold and so many germs and all.

After rummaging through my medicine cabinet for fifteen minutes. It’s dangerous to take more than twenty within twenty-four hours. I know that seems obvious, but someone in my half-dead state can’t think rationally.

That’s good at least. You should totally check it out. Watching other people do it kind of makes you think you could survive the wild yourself. It might help you get over your bug fear.
Yeah, it’s more like a sporadic thing. I can’t be the only one that has to deal with this. Ehhhh, I don’t know; that might end up scarring me for life.
Hmm, that could be an issue. Well I prefer to never be in the position of finding a bug in the shower in the first place, but I’m not really sure what other options you have at this stage.
Yeah, I guess I complain about enough as it is. So it’s never happened to you? Do you ever realize how blessed you are? Usually I just aim the shower head at it until it goes down the drain, but there’s always the fear that one day that will stop working.

God, I just get so irritated and can’t focus on the rest of the movie at all. Does that make me a bit crazy? Probably, yeah.
