Ripping off Beeple!
Playing around with the Atom Array. To get the effect, create a landscape, duplicate it and add a ‘Polygon reduction’ deformer. Slap the low res version into and Atom Array and you’re sorted.
The Rocket League van! I must have started this model 15 times, and each time I got frustrated and deleted it... Based on my vehicle of choice from Rocket League, with a little added low-poly derp. :)
One last render before bedtime. Found that little ‘Spherical’ tickbox on the Landscape primitive. The clouds were a late addition, and they still kind of stand out, but they’re cool, so I kept ‘em.
Y’hear that, Ireland!? I’m coming home!
Playing around with the MoGraph cloner and SubSurface Scattering. Nothing too exciting!
I’m not too sure exactly what this is anymore... Experimenting with tinted transparency, reflections and specular. Can’t get the water to be vibrant enough but remaining transparent... Lessons were learned!
A model of my little London flat. It started out as low poly, but then I got pissed at the lack of definition, so now it’s a mix of both... I might texture it as some stage!
Second attempt at the low poly landscapes. Big cold area light on the left, and the low poly sphere with 3000% GI intensity on the right.
Geometric, low poly landscapes! My poor attempt at mimicking the look of the incredibly talented mkeverydays.
Another attempt at a realistic render. I should probably branch out from ‘Objects on my desk’...
Took half an hour to render this 480x270 image... *Tear*
Discovered the wonderful world of Isometrics in Cinema 4D. Note to self: I need to stop adding Chromatic Aberration to everything...
Playing around with MoGraph and Sketch’n’toon! Trying to get a natural hand drawn look to the lines.
