Watching this (and fearing broken ankles with each loop) I can’t helping thinking about that old quote Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, except backwards and in high heels.

But no, if you watch closely you’ll see she doesn’t even step on the last chair. That means she had to trust that fucker to lift her gently to the ground while he was spinning down onto that chair. That takes major guts. I’d be pissing myself and fearing a broken neck if I were in her place. Kudos to her.

…the Saints are displayed in a cathedral in Eastern Germany close to the Czech border and were acquired in the 17th century when there was a big trade in relics. They are said to be the remains of Martyred saints that were stored in the catacombs of Rome before being removed and traded. They were reassembled and dressed in their fine regalia and displayed in ornate cabinets.

So I messed up my A-levels but that's no surprise really. My firm and insurance don't want me and I get that. I thought I'd secured a place at Cardiff for theology but when I checked up they had changed the grade requirements literally overnight. 

So here I am. The family are moving to a smaller place than we already have which means there won't be a bedroom for me anymore. I could probably get them to accommodate me somehow but what would I even do? Get a job? I've never had one before.

So between my frankly repelling pride and bad results I'm going to try to join the Navy as an officer. I pass the physical and academic requirements but looking at the application process I feel as though I'm bound to be rejected from that too. It'd be six years at least and I don't think I'd fit in at all. The way I imagine it it'd be like returning to the all-boys secondary school I went to, 'cept with adults trained to kill.

Being rejected means I'll have to join at an entry level or do something else. I don't know what I want to do with my life. I want to find true love and be a success. In that order.
