As you can see from bbcstudios.de post on Instagram, our ghosts are haunting Disney+ now! The show can also be watched on ARDPlus, either directly or by subscribing to the ARDPlus channel on Amazon. The text also mentions that the second series is in pre-production.

Jan shared this picture in his Instagram Stories yesterday in honour of Cristina's birthday. He writes, "Happy JORRsday, dearest Cristina. Looking forward to 'ghosting' you soon."

3 days ago, the director, producer, assistent producer, head of production and head writer of Ghosts visited Burg Bergerhausen as shared by bbcstudios.de on Instagram, confirming the return to the location for series 2.

Alexander Khuon, our very own Friedrich Dorn, commented the following under the post: "Looks familiar ... 😍"

The German adaptation of Ghosts has been renewed for a second series! 🎉

The description under the bbcstudios.de Instagram post says that they will go into production this summer and see an opportunity to establish the series as a brand in the long term. The whole cast is set to return.

I'm sensing (purely based on vibes tbh) a repressed queer Adelheid and a Claudius who might be aware of it. Look at that last little smile he gives her!

Also, if Claudius' backstory from that press release is true, (about the man he was in love with but couldn't be with?), and Adelheid has a similar kind of inner world to Fanny, then it might also just be that he recognizes and sympathizes with her feeling of wanting to be loved unconditionally. And because Claudius doesn't have the same level of repression as the Captain (with Claudius I think it's more so about not knowing how or simply don't feel the need to talk about his feelings, with Cap it's Everything) he's more outwardly supportive/attentive about it? Does any of this makes sense? Idk, but big fan of their dynamic.
