Hotel Quarantine FOOD: What I’ve Been Eating! (Part 2)
Continuation of food posting.
Quarantine Day 6: Lunch - Breaded Fish Fillet with Sweet/sour sauce, buttered veggies and muffins.
Quarantine Day 6: Breakfast - Luncheon Meat (WTF IS THIS SHIT), Scrambled eggs and pandesal. Seriously wtf is this Luncheon meat. This is shit. Couldn’t eat it and just had eggs and pan de sal. Honestly , not good, but everything else was.
Quarantine Day 5: Dinner - Pork Ulam (Sweet again! Possibly humba, paksiw or a sweet adobo); Cake with Cauliflower/Carrots.
Quarantine Day 5: Lunch - Chicken Ulam (I’m not sure what it is but it was sweet and not what i expected, but edible). It maybe PINIYAHANG MANOK - never heard of it.
Quarantine Day 5: Breakfast - Tocino with eggs, Rice and Pakwan. Tocino was really good. Finally got my suka. This time the front desk was extra receptive with following up twice. Much appreciated.
Quarantine Day 4: Dinner - Fried Fish Fillets with Garlic Sauce; Broccolli an Cake
Quarantine Day 4: Lunch - Pork Curry with Carrots/Potatoes, Cake, Rice.
Quarantine Day 4: Breakfast - Tapa, hard boiled eggs, rice and cantaloupes. Honestly, this was the worst meal i had. Just wasnt as good compared to all other meals. Could only get thru 1/3 of it. Requested suka but it never arrived.
Quarantine Day 3: Dinner - Chicken adobo, buttered vegetables, rice and cake.
Honestly, keeping full and well fed with quality food while in quarantine was one of my biggest concerns prior to arriving and booking my quarantine hotel. I had been watching youtube videos about other people’s meals at the hotel i chose and wasn’t really looking forward what i was going to get as part of my all inclusive meals and the quantities seemed small. Guests even said no outside food would be allowed in general which forces you to order high-priced room service. I messaged the hotel via agoda about what kind and if we get to select food options and got no response which further worried me.
I had even brought cup noodles, biscuits/crackers, canned fruit and a canned spaghetti just in case i got desperate. I planned on bringing peanut butter and tortillas, but ran out of time with this one.
Several days into my hotel quarantine food adventure, i’ve been quite surprised in general. Food is good, quantity has left me fulfilled. If you are filipino, then the food provided is really familiar food to your diet in general. If a non-Filipino it sucks that you have no choice of what to get, but fortunately for them upon check-in you can order out via food delivery services now.
Daily food thinking about it now is really the same food the hotel provides daily as part of their breakfast buffets (at least for breakfast).I’ve stayed at his hotel many times over the year to know their food and quality. Lunch and dinners are well executed and tasty. My only complaint is that you dont get condiments and sauces that help customize it to your taste. I actually bought a selection of ketchups and hot sauces for my usages which have came handy for the breakfasts. Now only if i had suka (vinegar) - just probably need to ask.

Quarantine Day 3: Breakfast - Bangsilog (baked milkfish) with two eggs, atchara and rice.
Quarantine Day 2: Dinner - Roasted chicken with a red tomato sauce that reminded me of the Ligo canned sardines, bean sprouts, rice and a chocolate cake dessert.
Quarantine Day 2: Lunch - Breaded fish fillets with like a garlic gravy, rice and veggies; Sansrival (filipino dessert)
Quarantine Day 2: Pandesal with “sausage” and two scrambled eggs.
Quarantine Day 1: Dinner - Japanese style Curry chicken with potatoes/carrots, rice and a Brazo de Mercedes (filipino jelly roll) dessert.
Quarantine Day 1: Lunch - Roasted chicken with buttered veggies, rice and brownie.
Quarantine Day 1: Breakfast - Cornbeef-silog with two hard boiled eggs and rice. Watermelon cup not photoed.
Arrival meal dinner: Adobo chicken with gata, chop chuy and two scoops of rice. The hotel had this ready for me at 11pm after arriving from the airport. It was a well appreciated meal after a long travel.

Great wake up alarm: #bestoffer sound. I countered high and didnt think the buyer would accept. Surprise the buyer in kuala lumpur did.
