DJ Shadow - Nobody Speak (ft. Run The Jewels)

Nobody Speak, which just dropped today, represents a perfect trifecta of meticulously seasoned skill and verbal potency, and is overall one of better songs to be released by each respective artist. When I first started listening to hip-hop, El-P and Killer Mike were one of the first artists I stumbled upon that I immediately fell in love with. Their ever expanding discography has been a constant staple of dope vibes and poetic verses throughout my time actively consuming music. I’ve seen them both live individually and together as Run The Jewels. They put on one a hell of a show, which boasts a level of intensity and energy few other artists can achieve on stage. I’ve also been a big fan of DJ Shadow for over 15 years, and I saw him live for the first time last year. If you enjoy concerts that host wild and rambunctious crowds, which collectively manifest an intensely humanistic and engulfing aura and allows you to more fully participate in the emotional experience of the concert (specifically drug fueled dancing to top-notch live mixing) I can’t recommend his live show enough. “Nobody speak, nobody get choked.”
