When it's 3AM and you can't sleep, start C25K, I guess! #planetoftriumphs #planetfitness #workingtowardsabetterme #goals // Just finished week 1 day 1 of #C25K® on #Android with @c25kfree! #everymomentcounts #run #running #health #fitness #workout (at Planet Fitness)
I just be tryna drink a lot of water & keep the stress outta my life.
I know it's silly, but I never thought I'd put in that many steps. When I first got my #FitBit, I read that 10,000 a day is "the goal." With my desk job, and busy, yet mostly sedentary lifestyle, I was perplexed on how I was supposed to do that. I started with 8,000 steps as my goal because my average was 7,000-ish. Once I started moving more, I bumped it up to 9,000, which I rarely ever got to, despite walking more (to and from work). When 2018 started, I bumped it up to 10,000, just to see if I could get there. I didn't check it til the end of the night but wow. I know it's not a huge number, but I did not expect to surpass my goal yesterday. I'm going to keep at it and hopefully, and gradually up that goal. #fitness #health #accountability #stepgoal #steps
Getting up at 3 AM to workout makes you crazy self aware. I missed yesterday, which I know is not a big deal, but I feel I still need to get a habit going. And at least some interchanging routines. One of my current goals right now is to stop stepping on the scale everyday. As @amandaleighfitness says, "Praise All Progress." Change isn't always in numbers. Proud of myself for actually doing something about this instead of just talking about it or wishing something could be done. #planetfitness #plussizeexercise #workout #gym #fitness (at Planet Fitness)
12.31.17 - Here we go. Spent about an hour and a half working out (didn't even realize it). Back at it again tomorrow! #dayone #planetfitness #newyearsresolution (at Planet Fitness)
Ready to Change
I can’t count how many times I’ve started one of these blogs to track my fitness/weight loss and then fallen off the wagon immediately. I found my first one from EIGHT years ago and it made me upset. I was 20lbs less than I am now. Somehow I lost 20lbs after that bringing my lowest weight to 235. I am now 275 and I’m over it. I wake up tired and sore and I get so angry and depressed about it. What made me even more angry is that I knew I could change, but I just didn’t. Enough is enough.
It’s 2018 now and something I did differently was I got over my gym anxiety and joined Planet Fitness. I’ve been there three days in a row so far and I love it (and am starting to feel the soreness). It truly is a “judge-free zone.” While I haven’t seen any changes in weight yet (as to be expected), I feel a lot better about it, and that’s a start.
Going to use this to track my food intakes, workouts, etc. as well as follow Fitblrs for inspiration.
My current goal is to get back to my “lowest” of 230. Then ideally more after that (baby steps!). Other goals include to start up on DDP Yoga again and change my diet; looking to do 70/30 Paleo for at least half the year (or shorter) and Whole 30 for the rest of the year. Hope to see some real changes.
