Last week I dropped the Ultimate Homestuck Recap that summarized the webcomic that once dominated the internet, particularly Tumblr.

Today I bring you what it was all for, a video essay called Homestuck Is Good, Actually.

If you were wondering, "Homestuck, really? In 2025?" The answer is yes. This isn't ironic. It's 100% sincere. I love Homestuck. And I think you should, too. Let me tell you why. Let me tell you about… Homestuck.

senshi... old lost session. not sure what his would be. blood, perhaps? chilchuck strikes me as a time player just bc he's shorter lived, and dealing with traps is a dangerous game. chilcorpses everywhere. feeds into the disposable half foot thing in a way that would be interesting to explore

some of the parties could be not actually playing the game and just wandering in it

i think falin's planet should be where the dungeon is. it's such a huge part of her character. and she'd LOVE catching frogs. land of dungeons and frogs ?

laios as a knight of void just fits i think. perhaps he would help falin with catching the frogs and get distracted by monsters 😭

for real though chilchuck would be way better for karkat than dave and it would give dave an existential crisis. karkat needs structure and drive but dave is just like a hang out dude, which karkat is fine with until he meets an adult man who is employed and realizes that being 26 isn't the same as being an adult. dave would be in absolute shambles and move out onto jade's couch and she would be super attracted to him but he's just not looking for that kind of thing right now....

nobody knows the lore behind this drawing other than it's a homestuck lineup so i'm here to give it to you. first of all tavros was left out of the math problem because otherwise it would be more difficult to solve with another person.second of all this drawing was made for a humanstuck au called apartmentstuck where john rose dave and jade are all roommates. there was a whole storyline with relationships and family drama but the artist deleted everything so there are only a few snapshots of it on the wayback machine as well as this post

hello homestuck kinnies that live in my computer
