Started writing the first draft of my novel Red Sand on May 1st. I haven’t kept up with my daily word count goal as well as I was hoping, but today I officially hit 22k words! The book should land somewhere between 90k-100k when it’s finished, so I’m nearly a quarter of the way done. Super excited to be able to say I wrote a book one day soon. ✨💕
Are you dead? Did the dark AU finally catch up to you?
I am alive!! Apologies to all of my demon fuckers out there, a lot has happened. I’m disabled now, retired from the Army, bought a fixer-upper house sight unseen, moved to a state I’d only ever spent 3 days in, and I have 7 pets at the moment. I’m also working on writing my first novel!
It’s been a very long time since I’ve played the game, so while I’m still happy to mess around with you all in the Dark!AU, I will put more energy into things focused on the characters I created (the children of the dark, the horsemen, OCs like Seroth and Dalgoron, etc) and the personality traits I chose for the demons and less emphasis on trying to keep anything lore-accurate to the game. It’s also possible that my writing style may have changed some while I was gone, although I think it will still be recognizable for those of you who have been here a while.
I might also post about my book or other personal things from time to time! If I get stuck on my book I’ll try and take some time to put together a little explainer for the Dark!AU for anyone that doesn’t want to go through all of the backlog to get caught up on general info.

Tw: dark themes (mentioned prostitution, sex trafficking and eating disorders), my general opinion on sins and demons (related to what I've learned in school and my family's beliefs) and very ooc OM! cast.
Obey me should be 18+. Obey me should be bloody and vicious. Mc's presence would be so much impactful if only the demons behaved like demons and the angels behaved like angels. If Solomon was an almost forgotten king living amongst dark creatures with no crown on his head.
When i think of Solomon i think of that story where two mothers were arguing about a living child. He offered giving each of them one half of the baby.
Where's that Solomon?
Why does Mammon keep spending money? True Greed lives within those parents that choose witnessing their child in pain over paying expensive medicine. Those people that bought one pair of leather boots ten years ago and refuse to buy something new because everything is "too expensive" nowadays. Mammon should be selfish and bitter, criticizing everyone's spending habits, not encouraging them.
But Mammon's greed represents having everything and more, you may say.
Well then, if he wants to have everything and more, why does he gamble? Does he expect to win every single time? I'm not convinced.
And Beel shouldn't be hungry all the time. On the contrary, he should be full. He should be eating without really having the need to do so. Food is not a coping mechanism for Gluttony, it takes the whole meaning of sin away. Beel should eat because he can do it and because he wants to do it. He should be eating until he feels sick and then keep eating because, why not? The food is delicious and it's right there.
And on top of that they're demons. Mystical beings dedicated entirely to temptation and punishment.
In obey me they're all bark and no bite (except lesson 16 and maybe Lucifer sometimes).
Give me some violence. Give me the gore that comes with living in hell. Give me a mentally unstable MC that truly shouldn't survive the exchange program. Demons all around are obsessed falling in love with them. Give me a true reason and not plot armor.
Envy and Pride are so close. Levi should be as ruthless as Lucifer. Greed and Lust? Prostitution and sex trafficking would put Mammon and Asmo on top of the food chain.
Tell me why Diavolo is more powerful than Barbatos.
Tell me how Luke is still alive.

Riddle: Listen, I know my man Lucifer has a preference for tall, angular types but. LISTEN. Riddle enters the devildom, realizes that he is in the most fucked place he could possibly be in, and his first reaction is going to be “wait what the hell. These people in charge of the human hall are AWFUL, and I must take it upon myself to get all my incompetent fellow humans in line straight away!” His ass is getting scooped up by Lucifer LMAO it’s his confidence and pride and ambition. He is out here putting his whole ass into looking respectable and following the rules and making sure nobody is acting up. My beloved little man Riddle was not given any entertainment as a child and was just told to study and then got yelled at for passing out and given more study work. He built the entertainment industry out of nothing but a few crossword puzzles he found in the back of his textbooks. Lock him in a room with nothing but a box of tissues and he will find a WAY!!! It is so over for him, Lucifer has his miniature little body in sight and it’s so OVER. (4/?)

Cater’s the last person you would think Belphegor wants to go after, and it’s more fun that way <3 He’s an extrovert, except he has no true friends, and he’s loud and excitable, except he spends all his free-time curled up in bed refreshing his SMs to see if anyone liked his last selfie. Ace: An interesting one… I may change my mind later if I decide otherwise, but I think he’s most likely to survive out of all these dweebs. He’s a lot more smart and hard-working than he lets on, like actually insanely smart, and he cares so much more about trying to stay alive and getting home than he lets on, too. He’ll have you thinking he’s resigned and given up and then internally he’s mapped out the best possible way to get through the day with as little trouble as possible. (9/?)
He actually gives a damn about staying alive and not getting brutally fucked up unlike nvgfcghfcdxfghv the rest of the entire cast, basically LOL it also helps that he’s sort of naturally lucky… He can be pretty charismatic when he wants to be, but I guess he does also have the unfortunate fatal flaw of being unable to sit still when someone is clearly in the wrong.
