sebastian michaelis + gn!reader — comfort.
there's something so surprisingly soft about the way sebastian holds you. it's almost unbearable, unnatural.
sure, the two of you have formed a contract. ome of the terms included his tender care towards you. all of your terms were stipulations that prevented you from being harmed the way you were before him. however, he was too tender. too soft.
it was a foreign feeling to you.
well—not enterily foreign, but it was nostalgic in an uncomfortable way. when was the last time you had recieved such...love? from someone? when you were a babe?
his touch made your skin crawl, and yet, it warmed you up in ways you couldn't imagine.
happiness. contentment. deeply-rooted satisfaction.
that is what you felt from him. it was funny, ironic even. as a human, your first real experiences of touch like this, stemmed from a demon contracted to you. kindness? satisfaction? love? from a demon? and for one?! you'd trick yourself if you continued to believe in something so—stupid.
yet, that fluttery feeling in your stomach persists.
perhaps its the way he cuddles you to help you sleep? or the way he softly shushes your tears, your worries when you awaken from a nightmare? or perhaps its the way he peers down at you in the mornings with a soft voice, "now now, you mustn't rest all day. please, enjoy your morning, my master."
you couldn't pinpoint why that stupid feeling of yours persists and blooms, its stems burrowing deeper inside of you.
yet, it was a problem that no longer troubled you due to, of course, sebastian. his actions never cease and his words speak comfort and solace to you, taking your mind off of anything troubling. his hand cups your cheek, his thumb softly brushing along your eyelashing. "relax, my master. it'll be alright."
ah- that's it. that fluttery feeling in your stomach that caused your heart to thump faster and louder.
you've got it. your answer.
you've fallen in love with sebastian.
