Francesco Tristano really needs no introduction lately, his music speaks volumes and his reputation precedes him; with that said we are happy to share ‘Place On Lafayette’ with you once again, this time including some stunning remixes.

The first one is a collaboration between two highly respected artists: Thomas Gandey and Radio Slave. The two take the track further into tech-house territory with the percussion driving while multiple layers begin the fall into one another, achieving a beautifully elegant and jazzy end result.

Guti’s vision is much deeper, with hints of dub here and there as the artists drives the tension up and creates a stunning groove. The final remix come from Tuff City Kids, who are known for their sometimes unconventional approach to making music, and in this case, it works. They channel a raw vibe and create something that is quite possibly the furthest thing from the original in terms of percussion. The pianos keep the thread strong, and the rhythm takes care of the rest.

Reminiscent of days gone by, ‘Hi & Low’ emits a warm glow with a divinely retro aesthetic. A throbbing bassline, on-point percussion and a sharp sense for groove produce a stunning experience as hypnotic vocals rise and take hold; elegantly navigating ‘Hi & Low’.

A/D/E/P is the new release from Belgian production duo GoldFFinch, who have been causing a stir of late with their readily identifiable sound. With recent releases on labels like Innervisions, Turbo and Dirtybird, the two Belgians have proven they have what it takes to grab an audience’s attention and this two track EP is no exception.

First up is ‘Algae’, a beautifully orchestrated piece of music, with a tense, almost melancholic tone that successfully threads its way through the whole track. Subtle where it needs to be and always becoming, give into it and this track will take you to far flung places.

‘Dilligence’ meanwhile opens with basic percussion that introduces the track’s first elements and sets a tone that right up to the end takes it into perfect after-hours territory.  With no let up the driving factor is the constant barrage of percussion over which the duo go to work with their synths laying down ambient textures. Together these tracks form a brilliant EP; one we couldn’t be happier to share with you.
