Thankfully they saw them, which made her feel better about the situation. It meant she didn't have to leave Aerial behind or trouble this woman. Once she saw the familiar face, Suletta took a step out and away from her hiding spot, but suddenly got curious once she noticed him looking at the woman as well.

"Ah, she found me, and stopped to help me! I didn't want to bother her but she was staying here with me for a while."

But she soon focused back on the woman.

"Do you...know each other?" Actually, did she ever get the woman's name?

"Oyaji?!"

Instead of a direct response, the young woman would just scream that word out, putting it in as clear terms as possible.

Without even thinking, the large man was awkwardly running down the slope, and then climbing the crashed Mobile Suit to hug his daughter and the Asticassia Student.

"I'm so happy you two are okay! I still can't believe..."

Before the woman could give her an answer, there seemed to be the sound of something getting closer to their location. It prompted them both to take shelter from behind the Aerial, Suletta looking around to make sure that she was out of sight of whatever it was that was scoping the area.

Would it be another ship? Maybe another mobile suit? It looked to be more of a ship once it was closer, and that's when it hit her.

"Ah, I-I know them!" She blurted out, immediately standing to her feet to wave them down.

It had to be them, the design was clear as day.

"W-We're still here!"

"You know that thing?"

The scary looking mech eventually noticed the mobile suit with Suletta waving at this, eyes that looked almost human peering down at the girls, before the robot divided itself into three aircrafts who has previously joined together to form it. Such an arrangement was odd to the young woman accompanying the Mercurian pilot.

Was that some kind of Super Robot? Nonetheless, something about that decoupling was making her uncomfortable, as if some kind of bad memory was poking at her.

From the three crafts, the one that was once the legs of that robot seemed to the one more in a rush to land, with a plump middle-aged man coming out of its cockpit as soon as it did, running over to the girls.

"Suletta!" he hurried to her like a father worried about his child, but not only because of the Gundam pilot. Ever since the Getter that looked downwards that Benkei thought he had seen someone, someone he had searched for while now. "Kei?"

Suletta didn't want to end up bothering this woman for any longer than needed, she could have been busy or maybe looking for others and just happened to find her along the way. She appreciated the snack though, and it was probably best for her to stay with Aerial.

"To keep myself warm? Y-Yes, I do!" Staying within Aerial should be good enough, as it was better than being out here, but she had some blankets within her as well which was a common thing for her to do in general anyway.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble. If you h-have anything else to do, it's okay, you can go do that! I'll, um...figure things out here."

Maybe it was best to leave to try and find help, and maybe that's what Aerial would want for her to do, but she still felt bad leaving her sister here. Explaining that to a stranger probably would be odd, and she wasn't sure on how to bring it up anyway.

"I'd...try to help you if I could too..."

Such a innocent girl. The young woman couldn't believe anyone like that could have been inside a Mobile Suit like that.

With a situation like this, she couldn't even bring herself to leave the girl alone. She could still be looted, she could even be attacked by Invaders.

But, on the other hand, she could be found by her allies soon, and the young woman still needed to find her own destination. She could still hear a voice calling out to her from time to time.

"!" but speaking of hearing, it seemed something was approaching.

She would gesture the younger girl to lie low, as she did the same, using the crashed mobile suit as cover.

She could only see a massive pair of black wings at first, but as it approached through the sky, she could see the mass attached to them.

First of all, it was too big to be called a Mobile Suit. Too gaudy too, with its red color adorned with bright green streaks, the wings and it's horns almost evoking the appearance of a monster. But above all, the eyes with which it surveyed the ground seemed almost alive in a way they shouldn't in a robot.

"What the hell is that thing?" ended up escaping her lips as she tried to hide from it.

Calling Aerial by pronouns was second nature to her, yet she always forgot that not everyone saw their mobile suits in the same light either. Before Suletta could respond though, she offered her some crackers, which the teenager smiled and carefully took.

"Th-Thank you very much." Taking something for her stomach would be good but the idea of leaving Aerial still worried her.

"L-Looters? It's why I can't leave her here, I wouldn't want them damaging her o-or stealing anything."

But she knew that Aerial would tell her otherwise since she wouldn't want her to get hurt.

Something about this was strange. Not only was this girl really young for a soldier., but she seemed really preoccupied with having something happen to that Mobile Suit. Maybe she was just worried about getting court marshalled under something like state property damage if she neglected it.

But yet she was apprehensive about sticking around here until they came to rescue her.

She felt something on her hip. She could defend herself if something showed up, hopefully it wouldn't be something like an Invader. But should she even stick around? She still needed to go somewhere... but the fact was, she wasn't even sure where to exactly go.

"... Do you know at least how to keep yourself warm? It shouldn't take long for nightfall."

So she wasn't part of the fighting? Guess she wouldn't be if she wasn't attacking, that was the assumption. But she looked like she would be nice, though Suletta knew that she couldn't judge only based on looks.

After a few more seconds of hesitation, Suletta carefully took her hand, giving her a nod. "Y-Yes, I can."

She felt fine, there shouldn't be a reason why she couldn't stand. Guess she wouldn't know until she stood up on solid ground. Even when she did get to her feet, Suletta made sure to stay near Aerial, not wanting to leave her alone for more than a second.

"Th-Thank you..." Suletta let out a sigh, rubbing at her stomach. "...I hope so. I can't leave her."

"Her?" was the girl talking about her Mobile Suit?

Maybe it had some sort of AI co-pilot, the young woman figured. But still, to talk about it like it was a companion to be concerned with...

"Anyway, are you hungry?" Noticing the pilot rubbing her stomach, hands reached into pockets, bringing out a pack of crackers. "We need to be somewhere safe. Gotta be careful about any looters or stragglers." It was the biggest pain in the ass about passing through a battlefield.

Suletta was hesitant to open the door but the girl didn't look like she'd harm anyone, and even sounded concerned. Aerial wasn't too keen on just opening it up either but Suletta gently tapped the console.

"You need to save your energy, Aerial. I have to leave at some point so we can get you fixed up anyway..." Not as if she ever wanted to leave her but maybe this girl could help.

"I-I'm fine!" Suletta finally responded back. "Um, I'll...I'll open the door!"

After a few button presses, the cockpit opened up, Suletta being careful and cautious just in case. "You...weren't part of the fighting...were you?"

"Huh? No.." that was a really young girl sitting on that cockpit, younger than the one trying to help her.

"I'm just travelling. Your Mobile Suit just happened to fall down on the way.

She was a young woman, wearing heavy clothes to survive the elements that hid her athletic physique. Her feminine and youthful face contrasted with the boyish hair.

"Can you stand up?" half stepping into the cockpit of the Gundam, she extended her hand towards Suletta. "The fighting seems to be slowing down. Maybe it won't be long until your allies come pick you up."

This all took her by surprise. Normally, Suletta could handle surprise attacks, she's practiced this plenty of times, but it was much different compared to the real thing. It all came from nowhere, catching her off guard...but she did manage to get them to pull back and leave so that was...something at least.

However, with how damaged Aerial became, it left her actually stuck here. Suletta could leave and look for help, even Aerial suggested that, but she didn't want to leave her.

"I'm fine, Aerial..." The young girl sighed, leaning back in her chair. She managed to get by without too many scratches but she couldn't stay here forever. After a few more seconds, the monitors lit up to notify her of movement outside of the cockpit.

Was someone else coming back? Suletta got herself closer to the door, almost leaning against it.

"Wh-Who's there?!"

It was a young woman, probably just a couple of years older than Suletta. Her build was athletic but sort of masked by the heavy clothes she was wearing from travelling, and her hair was cut in a very tomboyish length.

She was scrambling to find out how to open this Mobile Suit, tapping on the chest of it where she assumed the cockpit was located, as per usual design. "Are you okay?"

The young woman was alone. She knew where to go, constantly hearing a certain voice calling on to her over to a certain place.

But her travel had been harsh, and right now it had taken her to the perimeter of a large battle that had just taken place. It wasn't exactly a rare setting considering the amount of war going on in the world right now, but she still abhorred having being so close to a battlefield, even if she couldn't ignore the fallen Mobile Suit she saw.

A white machine, a kind of which the young woman hadn't seen much before. Her gut told her it looked like a Gundam, but it didn't seem to be any model the Federation would have.

Getting closer to the wreck, she prayed that neither the machine nor the person inside it had been taken over by Invaders, but, thankfully, there didn't seem to be any signs of that still.

"Does this thing even have a standard hatch?"

"H-Huh?!"

His reaction wasn't what she expected, but at the same time, Mercury was known to be rather backwards according to everyone she met. They surely made that clear, but she never regretted where she was born.

"Oh, I-I am! I'm having...a lot of fun with my friends. And...I never thought that I would be on Earth..."

Suletta smiled, looking down at the ground. "I wasn't sure if I could ever go to school...or have friends, but I managed to do that. And now, h-here I am, so..."

She looked back up at him. "...I-I look forward to learning more and maybe...b-being friends with you all!"

Maybe saying that was too simple but it was the best way for her to figure it out.

Such a nice girl. Benkei could feel the drive in her heart and her desire to live a full drive. To see someone young radiating like was a strong remainder to the old guys like him of what they were fighting for.

"Yes! I'd be very happy to have you be friends with my Kei!.. We'll definitely find her!"

"It's not that complicated," whether it comes off as an insult or reassurance is left to how prideful a pilot is over their machine.

"I've gotten some work done on the Great Mazinger's Brain Condor—when I look at the Eagle unit, I can't help but see the similarities, you know

Though—I'd say this is closer to the Zeta and its Waverider mode…" If the Waverider could hit thrice as hard. The specs of the Getter Robo surpass those of any mobile suit she's ever seen, but, that's to be expected. To begin with, comparing Super Robots and Real Robots is foolish in itself.

Unless you had the true mark of a fool and were Ryusei Date.

"Here, here, let me tell you! You just can't compare them, but can put them side by side and admire them, it really gets your blood pumping, doesn't it?! Such a hot-blooded display of raw power exuding from the Super Robots, what's your favorite?! Mine's Dancouga! The way it combines, it's so sublime! Ah, Real Robots have their charms, too, look at the Scopedog! The frame, it's so compact, but don't underestimate it, it packs quite a punch itself, especially when it's being piloted by the right person! ... Oh, don't get too close! Chirico almost breaks my arm..."

... The thought makes her shiver, not that is a mecha freak right there. In retrospective, maybe it's a good thing he didn't let her talk at all.

"I... should be done relatively soon, though, if you have any information as to what's exactly wrong with it, it'll make the process go smoother. They say no one knows their machines better than a pilot."

It was something of a mysterious rattle behind the seat that sometimes would have a bit of smoke come out of it. It wasn't seeming to affect the performance of the unit for now, but even Ryoma knew not to ignore it forever.

The only problem was that he wasn't the beast the mechanics side of this, Professor Saotome was out of reach, and he wasn't feeling like asking Hayato for pride-related issues.

"I don't know, it just smells like crap sometimes…" it did seem like she had seen a ghost for a while, but he elected to ignore it. He kinda wanted this to be over soon.

"You really think you can deal with that?" Ryoma, the pilot of the Eagle Unit, was a bit surprised to see that person near the systems of the Getter Robo. He assumed she was probably only used to dealing with Mobile Suits, which were very different from a bona fide Super Robot like the Getter.

"O-Oh! I see..." So it wasn't a mobile suit but still something similar to it? Guess another giant robot that they pilot together. It was much more different than a mobile suit if they could all merge and fight together.

"So, you all f-fight together? Guess I will learn about it later but...that sounds amazing. Having every craft merge together...and against invaders on the moon??"

Given that Suletta hasn't been anywhere but Mercury, hearing that was surprising to her in general.

"I've...only lived and known of Mercury, s-so..."

"Oh, Mercury, huh?!" that was indeed very far, and usually spoken off as a remote location, like a small island far off in the sea would be see in the old eras.

"Your school has its work cut out for itself, HAHAHAHAHA" Benkei let out a healthy laugh, as if he was finding his dad-tier joke the funniest thing in the world. "But, despite everything that as been happening, I hope you are enjoying your studies. Being on Earth must be so different."

Being missing, with no idea where she was, during a war? That really did sound scary, and Suletta could only hope that they would be reunited sooner rather than later.

"I-I see. I'm sorry but...I'll do my best to help as much as possible!" If it meant with fighting or finding his daughter, she would do whatever she could to help.

Though he had a point, everyone was here for a reason.

"Ah well, y-yes...I do. I'm here with my friends though...and I know I can help. I may not understand everything fully, but that's why we're here. Though is your...G-Getter the name of your mobile suit...?"

“Mobile Suit?“ oh right, she was probably from outside Earth, they probably called every robot a Mobile Suit since that was what the type that most predominance had around there.

“The Getter Robot is the pride of the Saotome Institute, a genuine Super Robot that is formed when the hearts of us three pilots join alongside the combination of our three crafts, Ryoma’s Eagle, Hayato’s Jaguar, and my own, Bear. You’ll probably learn about it in history class; the Getter was instrumental in the first war against the Invaders on the Moon when you were just a baby.“

Maybe she should go into another room? Maybe she was bothering him? Suletta had no idea, she couldn't read the man at all, he was like a statue. The sound of another man caught her attention however, sounding and looking much nicer. At least he took her attention away from the scary one, who still didn't look like he was moving.

"Ah, i-it's...it's okay, thank you..." What made him complicated? His scary stare? She needed to move on from him and focus on the one speaking with her.

"It's n-nice to meet you, Mr. Benkei. I'm Suletta Mercury!"

Mentioning he had a daughter made her curious, would she be on the ship? Based on his reaction, she assumed not.

"Is she...not around?"

"Well, they say she is missing. But I am still holding out hope on finding her..." The older man was trying to smile. Of course that, as a parent, having a missing child was difficult, especially with the world embroylled in war like it was right now.

"That's why I agreed to get on the Getter after all these years. That and, someone has to make sure a certain someone doesn't scare everyone off." Benkei laughs heartily, with Ryoma just silently scoffing.

"We all have our own circumstances here, miss, surely you have yours too."

This...was a new place that she had to get used to. At least she was here with Earth House, but every other person here were unknown faces and it felt as if none were easy to approach.

Actually, she'd rather not.

But wouldn't they be people she'd work with to remove this sudden new threat? Suletta rubbed her fingers together, a nervous tic that she could never truly get rid of, before looking up to see one scary individual staring right at her.

"Eh!?" The noise escaped her before she could even process why the man was even looking at her. The young girl took a few steps back, looking anywhere else in the room to refuse direct eye contact with him.

'Wh-Why is he...staring at me like th-that!?' For a few daring seconds, Suletta glanced back over at him, seeing his clothes looking ripped; was he in a fight? Given they all were here to help with a threat, he clearly knew something right? She dared herself to look back up at his face but broke away the second she saw his expression again.

'Everyone here is...'

What the man was thinking was nothing but a mystery, his scowl seemingly unfazed by her awkward behavior. In fact, maybe he wasn’t even thinking about the mercurian witch.

“Oy, Ryoma! What are you scaring the kids for?“

With a more upbeat voice came about another man, shorter, but with a more rotund build. “Sorry about him, lass. Things have been a bit complicated with him for a while now.“ after all, a lot of the world still thought the pilot of the Getter-1 to be the murderer of the illustrious Dr Saotome.

“The name’s Benkei Kuruma, I pilot the Bear unit of the Getter Robo... you know, I have a daughter your age, if not a little older.” if only we could find her, he adds in a mutter.
