Ah, how the months flew by. Naturally, Nikolette von Brandt was a busy woman even at the most relaxing of times, but the months since the incorporation of Gund-Arm had been busier still. There were finances to go over, recommendations to make, reports to compile for the benefit of her own company's shareholders. Yes, it had all held her attention and refused to let go, not least because of Shaddiq Zenelli. Oh, she had never liked him - his charm seemed a bit too manufactured and calculated for her liking, and his weaseling attempts at stripping Miorine of her company sat rather poorly with her.
For a while, Nikolette had considered begrudgingly lowering herself to assisting Earth House personally in their team duel, though thankfully that hadn't been necessary. It was, by her estimation, quite the blow to Shaddiq's standing and his pride, and with Guel Jeturk having gone missing, it seemed the Benerit Group's golden boys were losing quite a bit of their shine. Just as well, of course, given how it was Nikolette, and Nikolette alone, who deserved those sorts of unrestrained plaudits. Taking such an interest in Gund-Arm was a gamble, to be sure, but one that seemed quite likely to pay off for her - exactly as she liked it.
"Suletta Mercury!" Walking in the hallway, the clack of her boots announcing her arrival before her voice did, she beckoned Suletta over. "How lucky that I've ran into you. You're just the girl I was looking for." She gave a click of her tongue and kept walking, motioning for Suletta to follow. "Come along. We've a number of important matters to discuss, you know." Confident, self-assured, she nodded. "Oh, have you been keeping up with those classes I enrolled you in? How has your business IQ been developing?"
If circumstances allowed, perhaps she'd have gone over some of the specific scenarios with Suletta, but they didn't, and she wouldn't. There were more important matters. "Aerial was damaged in the team duel, wasn't it? It's my understanding that Earth House will be making a trip to Plant Quetta soon." Nikolette really had no interest in that matter specifically, but Miorine would be there. It had been a while since Nikolette had seen her, and personal matters aside, it would be beneficial to speak with her in a professional context as well. "I'm considering accompanying you. That wouldn't be a problem, I'm sure, if I decided as such?"
