Day 4 of 30 I’ve had to scatter the workout through out the day as I had time.
In total I did
100 Jumping Jacks
50 plie squats
1 minute plank
Day 3 of 30. Today’s workout was a lot easier to get through than the last 2 days, so I’m definitely seeing an improvement after only a few days back. So for today it was...
50 Jumping jacks
20 sec reverse elbow plank
20 plie squats
20 knee highs
repeat 4 times
I barely needed to rest between rounds this time, and wasn’t even that out of breathe afterwards.
Day 2 of 30 day challenge. My legs are sore from yesterday, but overall I feel good.
50 Jumping jacks
20 sec plank
15 squats
10 step ups (each leg)
repeated 3 times
last round
30 Jumping jacks
10 sec plank
5 squats
10 step ups (each leg)
Its been awhile. I may still have health issues that haven’t been sorted out yet, I have been given permission to start working out again so long as it doesn’t involve heavy weights or lifting.
So I started with basics, sense it’s been awhile, and I’ve lost all the progress I was making.
50 jumping jacks
20 sec elbow plank
20 squats
20 calf raises
I repeated that 3 times and then for the forth round I did
20 jumping jacks
10 sec elbow plank
10 squats
10 calf raises
Finished with 5 minutes of stretching
total of each after 4 rounds
170 jumping jacks
70 secs elbow plank
70 squats
70 calf raises
I’m doing a 30 day jumping jack, squat, and plank challenge to get me started again. So I should be posting my workouts for the next 30 days.
So I did some more of the plyometric workout, but I did some adjustment.
Box jumps 1 minute
jump rope 30 sec
lateral jumps 1 minute
jump rope 30 sec
agility ladder 1 minute
jump rope 30 sec
jack squats 1 minute
jump rope 30 sec
Bulgarian split squats 7 each leg (I did notice that there seems to be an imbalance between my left an right leg so I’ll be working to fix that)
jumping jacks 50
Just finished a half hour of step and kettle bell workouts. No matter how hard I looked I couldn’t find the names for any of the exercises with the exception of the kettle bell swing. I used a 5lb kettle bell but I think I’m going to get a 10lb one for next time.
Just tried Daisy Ridley’s plyometric cardio workout, and I just have to say it was hard. I did rest a bit between each set, just to get my heart rate down. It was a really enjoyable workout though and I think I’m going to do it at least once a week, maybe more.
Only one set was done because it was killer for someone who hasn’t done a workout in awhile.
For those that don’t know what the workout is it’s:
Box jumps for 1 minute
30 sec on jump rope
Lateral jumps 1 minute
30 sec jump rope
power jumps 1 minute
30 sec jump rope
jack squats 1 minute
30 sec jump rope
Here’s a link where I got the workout
and heres a link of Jordan Shalhoub doing the workout if you want to see it done
Just got back from the gym and did 2 miles on the treadmill in 35 minutes on incline 6 and 5 minutes on the stair-climber 180 steps.
It’s going to take awhile to get back to where I was, and get my motivation back, but I’m willing to work at it.
I finally felt well enough after the surgery to go to the gym. I did get the OK from my doctor, but I was told to still be careful.
I took it easy, just did the treadmill at an incline of 6 for about 25 minutes until I started to feel some pain from the surgery’s location. I decreased the incline to 1 and was able to continue for another 17 minutes. So I did a total of 42 minutes, and 2.34 miles.
It was nice to go back to the gym, and do a workout even if it was only the treadmill.
My surgery went well. I am going to be laid up for a while, but as soon as I have the all clear I will be starting right back on my fitness journey. I will probably slow things down a bit, avoid strength workouts, and focus more on cardio
Looks like my fitness is on hold for a few weeks. I’m having minor surgery to remove a cyst next week. It always seems like 1 step forward 2 steps back.
Found out today that they are also removing a small tumor from the outside of my uterus. They believe it is benign, but with my family history they are going to send it to a biopsy to make sure there are no cancer cells. On the plus side I can return to work until the day before the surgery, and should only be off work for a week maybe 2, but they think a week will be enough. and can resume my fitness journey once everything is healed, so long as I take things slow.

Dealing with a lot of pain lately, went to the ER wednesday, originally they thought that it was my stomach affecting my back but now they think it’s my spine affecting my stomach. I also have a 6 cm ovarian cyst that was adding to the pain. Because of all this pain I have been weak, dizzy, and haven’t been able to eat sense Monday.
Long story short until this is sorted out I can’t do anything, I’m not even allowed to drive and have to rely on Lyft or family and friends to get me to my appointments today.
Went back to the park today after work, and was there for just over an hour.
So I ran 4.17 Miles in 1 hour and 7 minutes. It is really nice to run outside rather than at the gym.
I went to the park today to go for a run. I ended up running for a half hour and then just explored the park for another hour and a half after that. But I probably ran/walked for 4 miles.
I only left once i started feeling dizzy and kept tripping and falling. I’m still feeling dizzy and I’ve already eaten, showered, and rested for an hour.
