Logan sniffled softly “I know you’re not…But…You’re not with me.” He mumbled  before looking away “No one else wants me…So I’ll wait.” he muttered “I’ll wait till I die…I’ll change everything about myself so we’ll work..I’ll do all the work.” he squeaked out. “W-Without you I have no one..” 

Derrick sighed softly. He wasn’t sure if there was anything that he could say to make Logan happy right now so instead he just remained silent, hugging Logan close. “I know that’s not true. I Thought that was true when I was just starting to get clean. But I know you have people out there who love and care for you.”

Logan sniffled softly and shook his head “you really only see one side of me, Derrick, I only show you the happy side, the fake side of me. You don’t see how lonely I really am in this place. The only people I have in my life are my body guards and I fucking pay them...you’re the only one that came into my life willingly and showed me love”

Derrick sighed softly. “I’m not dating anyone right now, Logan. Ever since I turned eighteen and arrived here in New York I’ve always been dating someone and… Right now I’m just trying to figure out who I am when I’m alone. I’m so sorry that…” He paused, trying to come up with the words. “I get that you’ve spent a lot of time wanting me, but you shouldn’t wait for me, Log. Who knows when and if I’ll be ready to date again and who knows if we’ll even still work together.” He reached out, gently squeezing the other’s arm. “I don’t want you to waste your time waiting for mw when I can’t even promise I’ll ever be ready.”

Logan sighed “is that all I am to you? A past bad habit..” he mumbled as he looked away sadly “you may not believe this, but I actually do love you…and I was really trying to change for you…I’ve always wanted to be the guy you wanted..”

Derrick sighed softly and looked down. “No… You’re my friend Logan. But our relationship wasn’t healthy. For either one of us.” He gently stroked the other’s cheek. “You shouldn’t change for me… You should change for yourself. Be the person you want to be.”

Logan bit his lip and looked away as his cheek was stroked “that is who I wanted to be...I wanted to be the man that was good enough for you” he whispered “y-you’re the first person who ever made me think about a future, my future....our future” he squeaked out as tears began to form in his eyes “s-sure we were a mess when we were together, b-but once I heard you sobered up...I wanted to try it too..” he whispered “I tried..and tried before I went out looking for you again..” he mumbled before sniffling softly “I just...I want you to want me” he muttered as his body began to quiver softly, tears now streaming down his cheeks.

Logan shook his head “not that…I hate when you call me your friend..” he mumbled before sighing and shaking his head. “Not yet…I’m off the job till I recover though…”

Derrick nodded his head and frowned. “Oh… I’m sorry… You’ll always be special but… we never were good for one another. And I’m trying so hard to not repeat the bad habits in my life. I think… maybe if we just be friends it’ll be better. For us both.”

Logan signed and closed his eyes as he felt Derricks fingers in his hair “I hate when you call me that…” he muttered sadly as he moved his hand to take Derricks and interlock their fingers loosely

“Yeah? I can call you Logan from now on.” He held the other’s hand gently. “Do you have any kind of plan to get out?”

Logan shook his head “not that...I hate when you call me your friend..” he mumbled before sighing and shaking his head. “Not yet...I’m off the job till I recover though...”

Logan sighed as he was placed on the couch. “I…you’re right” he mumbled as he looked up at Derrick with sad eyes “w-were you worried about me…?” He asked softly.

Derrick smiled at the other softly. “Of course I’m worried about you. I’m always worried knowing that you’re doing a job that could get you killed. You’re my friend, Log.” He gently pushed the other’s hair back.

With all the traffic, Logan finally arrived about 40 minutes after his last text to Derrick. He had the taxi driver help him get out of the car and get into his wheelchair. He let out a little grunt as he looked up to see Derrick waiting in front of his door. “Hey babe…” he muttered, Logan was in pretty rough shape, his whole body was bruised including his face. “Can you push me inside?” He asked softly, his voice was weak, and not as cheerful as it usually was. 

Derrick arrived to Logan’s before the other. He had a small container of chicken noodle soup. Sure, it was meant for sickness, but Derrick figured it couldn’t hurt someone who had been beat to hell. Looking up as he heard Logan’s voice, Derrick frowned. He opened the door, helping the other to his couch. “This is why you need to get out, Log. It’ll kill you.”

Elias hated that he saw a bruise on the other’s face and he sighed softly, but tried to keep a smile on his face since he was happy to see Logan. “Well I am glad to be bringing you some food.” he said as he handed him the bag and then sat next to him. 

Logan smiled and began pulling the food from the bag and digging in quickly “Mmmmm So good!” he groaned loudly, as he leaned against Elias. “You’re the best”

When he was sure he had a good grip on the other, Ewan began to walk. “That’s a shame. There’s really no reason to stab someone when you an have pint instead and work out your differences.”

Logan grunted as he was picked up “Ugh...In my business people don’t care if we’re actually people. They take what they want. No matter the cost. I’m lucky it was just a stab...”

Ellis was a bit more alarmed when his hands and shirt came away with blood on them; if he didn’t know some sure fire ways to get blood out of rabric he might be more concerend but he was worried about the boy.  He reached out to cradle his head.  It was a quick decision, even if he wasn’t sure the best one.  “I’m not fond of them either.  I can’t tell how bad it is but I have a medical kit at home and I’m not too far away.  Let’ me help you but if it is too bad, doctors.”

Logan sighed and closed his eyes “Okay...That sounds better than doctors. I trust strangers more than doctors” he grumbled “I’m light...You should be able to carry me. You look strong” he chuckled softly

Elias: Alright. Heard you loud and clear.

Eli headed out of his place and towards the five guys that was closest to him. He didn’t want to deal with lines anywhere else and he really enjoyed their burgers anyways. He got them both a couple of burgers with some fries and headed over to Logan’s. He knew that Logan wasn’t really getting out of bed so he just walked into the other’s place and headed towards his bedroom. “Hey there. I brought the burgers and some fries as well.”

Logan slowly sat up as he caught the scent of the burgers and a wide smile grew on his bruised face as he saw Eli enter his room. “Hey! Thanks so much. Fuck I haven’t eaten since I left the hospital.” he grumbled softly as he made grabby hands for the food
