It was 11 pm.

Monica was currently buried under the covers, wearing a pair of pink striped pajamas.

Yet another Tom and Jerry compilation was playing on the computer, showing on the projector in the room she and Nyla slept in daily.

Nyla walked into the bedroom, wearing a white silk negligee with a hem that revealed the top of her breasts.

Her hair was in a bun, lips glossy with Vaseline. "Someone's comfortable."

Monica smirked, "I'd be even more comfortable with you in bed, naked with whipped cream and cherries on top."

Nyla chuckled, "That sounds tempting," and curled up under the covers. She made herself comfortable in Monica's arms. "Let's do that tomorrow. And then later, I can cuff you to the headboard and have my way with you."

"What a lovely way to spend the night together."

"Mhm…"

Monica and Nyla shared a chaste kiss on the lips. Quick yet loving.

Nyla caressed Monica's hair as they continued to watch the skits.

She knew that house arrest was far from the redhead's favorite thing, but was proud of her for getting through it along with everything else.

And soon enough, she'll be free and happy.

Monica was still feeling terrified, sad, all the emotions. But the one thing that felt the most right now was loved.

Loved by Nyla, by Wesley. By so many people.

"You're safe," she heard Nyla murmur, "No one will hurt you. Never again. I won't let anyone hurt you."

"I know…"

Monica kissed Nyla's forehead, "I love you so much."

"I love you too. More than you'll ever know."

Nyla held Monica tightly, burying her face in the crook of her neck to truly feel at home.

Monica felt tears fall down her eyes, letting out a small sob. She buried her face in Nyla's chest, letting out everything she had held in.

Nyla caressed Monica's hair, leaving a kiss on her head. She inhaled her fiancée's scent, "You smell so good."

A chuckle echoed from Monica's lips. Nyla always made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.

They watched the rest of the compilation in bed, still cuddling under the covers.

After finishing, Nyla turned off the projector and the computer. "You want some tea or something to eat? There are still leftovers muffins that we made together a few days ago."

Monica smirked, "Well that wasn't the only thing we made in the kitchen that day."

Nyla rolled her eyes, but chuckled. "Shut up."

Monica chuckled and kissed her fianceé's head again. "I already ate dinner a while ago, but I could use some dessert."

And she lifted the brunette's silk negligee and took off her panties before…

Nyla threw her head back, moaning and pulling at Monica's hair.

Minutes later she was close and came in the redhead's mouth.

Monica laid on her side of the bed and gazed at Nyla with a smile. "How was that?"

Nyla was catching her breath, "Good," she panted. "Still hungry?"

"Oh, I am more than satisfied."

The redhead leaned in to kiss the brunette, pecking her lips before watching her leave.

Nyla went to pee and drink some water from the kitchen. She thought about bringing that muffin anyway just in case Monica got hungry, so she took one.

But when the detective walked back into, the former lawyer was already fast asleep.

Nyla chuckled. Good thing the muffin she brought was stored in a container. She left it on the nightstand before curling back up under the covers.

Monica pulled Nyla into her arms to cuddle with her, while the latter moved closer to her touch.

More Coffee Shop AUs

Person A starts to frequent a different coffee shop and the barista, Person B, seems to remember every single customer's order - but they always ask Person A again and again what they want.

Person A hates to change their plans. So when someone sits at their usual table at their favourite coffee shop they simply cannot sit somewhere else, so they just sit down right next to them.

Person A wants to spend more time talking to Person B, the barista, but they just start to become annoyed by Person A's order that becomes more and more ridiculous.

Person A always saves a cupcake for their favourite customer, Person B, no matter how late in the day they stop by.

Person A is a really great at doing latte art and they desperately want to impress their crush, Person B, with it. Unfortunately, they always order tea, so they have to get creative.

Person A is finally brave enough to write down their number on their favourite customer's drink - but they were so nervous, they switched the drinks.

The coffee shop is inside a book store and Person A, the barista, always give Person B, the bookseller, their favourite coffee, while Person B gives them book reccomendations and when it's really slow, they read to them.
