Starting a new genre. It’s called Nomance. The characters start out as an unhealthy couple but eventually work their way towards a healthy QPR/friendship.

I was reading a grockdrian fic, and in it Grace keeps thinking “there’s no way they love me, I basically just told them, and they’re kind enough to pretend that I wasn’t talking about them” and mid freak out over how dumb he was being, I realized that I do the same bullshit with the guy I love, and all I could think was ‘wouldn’t it be really funny to do something meta like this in a fic’
