Naomi was everything she imagined and more. Soft, and small enough to fit perfectly in her arms. She’d imagined this moment over and over, especially more so during her rather long plane ride there. She wondered if they’d have a height difference, or what if Naomi wasn’t big on physical contact. She imagined herself landing in the wrong city due to the fact that she got on the wrong plane. Wonderful thoughts mixed with the negatives, but the brunette truly did not match up to her already high expectations, but surpassed them. The way their arms wrapped around each other made it feel as if the two were a puzzle piece made just for one another. As Naomi pulled away Eden kept her arms around her waist, refusing to let go. She wanted to make up for lost time, for every moment where they should be in contact now repaid through Eden’s general clingy nature. It was odd to look at her up close and personal. The pixels on her computer screen could never do her justice. In the flesh she was more beautiful than her brain could ever fathom, and her fingers twitched, aching to trace her features and commit them to memory.
As the other girl began to speak, Eden could only look on with utmost adoration in her eyes. Now that they were finally together, the blonde vowed to make every second count. She laughed at Naomi’s words, then snuggled into the palm of her hand as she caressed Eden’s cheek. “That’s silly.Your face is permanently in my mind twenty four/seven. I’d know a Naomi impostor if one ever tried to take me away. But that’s okay because we are here, and we’re together and everything is absolutely…amazing,” She said with a content sigh. “If I ever do get lost, we should probably buy some dog tags for me and put ‘Property of Naomi’ on them,” She laughed before pulling her into another quick hug. “I can’t believe this is real. You’re really really really real and in my arms and we’re really together,” She rambled on, her nerves going haywire. Eden pulled away, only to entwine their fingers and reach down for her forgotten items. “I was so careless and I just dropped my things. I hope I didn’t break anything. So, I’m staying with you, right? Unless you want me to take a hotel, otherwise I totally get it.”
The brunette never wanted to let go of the other. She wanted to be constantly touching her, wanting to make up for all the times she never got to. It was a little pathetic to be this love sick- or so her friends said- but she honestly couldn’t find something so bad in loving Eden. The girl had her whipped, sure, but she doesn’t think she would have it any other way. Actually, she felt sorry for her friends who didn’t have someone in their lives like she had Eden. Someone who she loved completely and fully who also reciprocated the feelings she had. The sole thought of her love being returned warmed the girl’s heart and she gave a gentle squeeze to their entwined fingers, sighing softly. No, there couldn’t possibly be anything wrong with the being so focused with each other and just so in love. “I wouldn’t say dog tags, love. That’s a bit too territorial.” Which she wasn’t, or at least, she hoped she wasn’t. She never really felt so strongly about anyone else before like she did Eden, so it would be a gamble if they were ever in a situation like that. She watching the other girl gather her things, bending down to help pick up another one of her forgotten bags. It was only after Eden finally started to discuss about her living situation while she was here that Naomi snapped out of picking up her stuff. Oh. She forgot about that. The girl went into a slight panic as she shook her head, fingers clenching tightly around the handle of the bag. “No. No, I, uh, actually rented us a room at a really nice hotel. It’s not too fancy, honest, but it’s more on that side, I guess you could say. I didn’t think you’d want to stay in a small house cramped with my whole family.” And, okay, yeah it was sort of a lie. Her family already knew Eden was coming down and her house wasn’t some small, cramped thing. It was actually quiet the opposite. She just didn’t want her family to jump on Eden the minute they stepped into the house. They had actually been so supportive of the whole 'meeting up’ thing, as long as they got to formally meet her. She was all for it, except for the fact that “formal” meant going out to an expensive restaurant where they bombarded whoever she was dating with questions. And she was not about to put Eden through that so early in the trip. “I mean, I saved the money up for it and put it towards the room, but if you’d rather stay there yourself, I get it. I don’t want to be imposing on your privacy or anything!”
