"A Flower" is finally back up on our official YouTube channel! 🌹 The track was originally released in 2014 as the first promo single for the "Our Garden" LP. This was one of the first videos we made with Wayne Moreheart and is still a favourite. So grateful for all the work Wayne has done for us over the years. 🙏 Filmed on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish and Halkomelem speaking peoples. Canada tour with The Foreign Resort starts tomorrow! 7.17 House of TARG - Ottawa ON 7.18 Piranha Bar - Montreal QC 7.19 The Cave - Toronto ON 7.20 The Bank Art House - Welland ON 7.21 Richmond Tavern - London ON 7.22 Phog Lounge - Windsor ON 7.24 Lucky Bar, Victoria - Victoria BC 7.25 Library Square Public House - Vancouver BC* 7.26 The Globe Live Studio - Nanaimo BC** *Vancouver venue update! **With H.Ä.L.T. 🦇
As 2024 comes to a close, we celebrate the release of our 15-year retrospective “Lost in the Noise” on Midnight Mannequin Records and we would like to thank everyone who picked up a copy, featured us, or streamed us!
We started this band in Vancouver and recorded our first demos in 2009. @black_magique will now be moving on to other projects, including guitar and synth duties for our very good friends SPELL and we wish them the best.
GFBF will continue in Toronto, and we have more to come in 2025 and beyond. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts to all who have contributed to our art or supported us over the years. It has been a wild ride and we are truly, truly grateful! 🌹 - Grant

New Album // Lost In The Noise - Girlfriends and Boyfriends (darklifeexperience.com)
"The sound is far beyond multi-layered, never boring and already shows the early potential of the Canadians. Enormous landscapes of sound, but sophisticated... Crisp basslines, guitar solos and, of course, Grant Minor’s unmistakable voice."
