“Where in Eorzea is Windy!?”
With All Saints’ Wake in mind, I thought it would be fun to arrange an FC event with some spooky Halloween Rewards! There will be three rounds of hide-and-seek, one with each level of player in mind, and each with scaling rewards due to increased difficulty.
Round 1, New Players: Round 1 will be planned with new players and low-level characters in mind. I will hide in an area that is accessible to, and (mostly) non-threatening to new players. First person to find me will receive one pot of metallic blue, green, or red dye. Their choice.
Round 2, Players Level 40 and up: Round 2 will be for higher-level players/players without Heavensward/flying capability. I will hide in one of the higher-leveled areas of the game, and the first person to find me will receive a Pumpkin Head in their color choice or Pumpkin Earrings.
Round 3, Heavensward + Flying: Round 3 will be for players who have flying capability in all Heavensward Zones. I will hide somewhere in one of these massive areas, and the first person to find me will receive either the Eerie Garments or The Howling Spirit or The Wailing Spirit
Time: 10pm EST
Date: 10/30/15
1. I cannot move. Once I pick a spot, I will not move an inch until found.
2: Everyone needs to start in the basement of the FC house
3: NO TELEPORTING, you have to run from zone to zone manually, and use the ferry out of the housing ward. (I will be watching)
4: NO PARTIES. You're on your own in a free-for-all hunt for your FC leader
5: You have to be next to me, target me, and /salute me for it to count as “finding me”.
6: You have to be alive to claim your prize. If I’m in an area you need to fall to to get me and you die of fall damage, it doesn’t count.
7: NO.CLUES. EVER. ... unless it's been 45 minutes and no one has even gotten close to me
8. NO NINJAS.
9. If you die, you need to return to the FC House and start over. No rezzing.
10. Everyone must wait in the FC Basement until I say “GO!”. Once I say “GO!”, I will go entirely silent, and will not be messaging in LSs, FC Chat, or answering any tells.
11. NO ASKING other players if they’ve seen me. This is an FC-only event and cheating is no good!
12. You must be in costume!
