maybe examine why the mere suggestion of jk being with a woman brings out this level of anger. they may well not be dating, but saying they could be is hardly offensive. i’d say it’s much more problematic to condemn someone for discussing a subject just because you don’t like or agree with it.

in my mind the possibility of jikook being together exists simultaneously as the possibility of them not being together. i’m happy to entertain either scenario. and i’ll probably stick to that stance as long as the facts of the matter remain unknown. i’m very comfortable with that, but if you’re not this blog may not be the place for you.

hi anon, your ask happened to pop up as i was visiting this blog for the first time in like a millennium and for the first time in just as long the thought of engaging with this fandom doesn’t make me cringe and run off in the opposite direction so…

the girl (well, woman, hopefully, i’m scarred from the recent kim soohyun reveal) he was with in that video appeared to be very tall. which doesn’t match with any of the aespa girls, i believe. that doesn’t mean he isn’t/hasn’t dated any of them, but i don’t suspect that’s who was featured in the video. the jk sighting at today’s aespa concert did instantly remind me both of the time jk and winter attended the same concert and left together, and of the rumour that aespa were at the golden launch party. they could just be friends, they could be more, there’s too little to go off of to say for sure. i mean, i have a gut feeling about it but as much as i trust my intuition i try to avoid jumping to conclusions based on insufficient information.

What are you thoughts on the Jk video going around?

Hi! My response is a bit late, but I needed a few days to gather my thoughts. Not about the video, though—I believe it’s real. And I’d think so even if the back-hug video was the only one to be leaked; but the other video, as well as the several photos I’ve seen, all serve to confirm it. There’s really no doubt. I feel the need to emphasise this point after having seen so many Jikookers doing mental gymnastics and further invading Jungkook’s privacy by pulling up his floor plan and photos of his house exterior just to prove an invalid point.

It is Jungkook, and if you can’t see that it’s only because you don’t want to. I, for one, think it’s better to face the facts than to turn a blind eye. But maybe I’m in the minority. With that being said, how you interpret the leaked footage and how much significance you place on it is an entirely different matter.

Regardless, the main issue is obviously that someone hid in the bushes outside of Jungkook’s home and recorded him without his knowledge, and leaked it now to interfere with 3D’s release. It’s disturbing and upsetting. But I was relieved to see that Jungkook is unbothered by the situation, and hopefully —knock on wood— his upcoming album release will progress peacefully.

When humans experience emotional discomfort —such as when presented with a fact we don’t want to accept— our brains will do what it can to soothe that discomfort. This allows us to look right at something obviously real and still dismiss it as fake. Be wary of believing something that defies rational thought, simply because it makes you feel better.

How will you feel about Jikook if Jungkook indeed makes out heavily/does anything heavily sexual with Sohee?

Let's keep in mind that we're talking about the same Jungkook that got upset over the THOUGHT of his partner having perilla leaves peeled for them by another person.

Let me preface this by saying that I do not expect anything heavily sexual to occur in the MV. But even if Jungkook and Sohee were to get physical it wouldn’t necessarily faze me. I mean, if the artistic vision calls for it… It’s acting, it has no bearing on real-life relationships.

The lyrics “loving you right / seven days a week” heard in the recording film preview suggest that the song will at the very least have sexual undertones. But the MV can convey those vibes without Jungkook and Sohee actually having to do anything with each other. Which is the alternative I’m leaning towards. In any case, we’ll know soon enough!

(And I could write paragraphs about the perilla leaf thing, but the bottom line is that the given situations are not comparable).

Thankyou for being open to all possibilities including them being not real. Almost all Jkkrs here are so adamant and 100% sure about them being a couple when in future tons of things proving otherwise can happen. Scary thing is them not being open to that possibilities and attacking anyone who say otherwise.

Just to clarify, I haven’t changed my mind about Jikook, not at all. But I’m open to exploring all possibilities, even those that challenge my beliefs. And if that makes me seem wishy-washy then that’s okay, I still think it’s a healthy mindset to have.

So I’m totally late to the party but oh my god Seven is coming! With an MV to boot! I’m not exactly sure how “invigorating summer song” merges with the sexy sultry aesthetic of the promo material we’ve gotten thus far, but I can hardly wait to find out.

And Jungkook’s live… yeah, that man knows his audience. My personal highlights were his new lip piercing—it looks cool, and I’m such a fan of Jungkook doing exactly what he wants to do—and him singing while doing ab wheel rollouts. He’s so precious.

How do you feel about Jungkook leaving with Tae and not with Jimin?

I don't think it means much? Jimin was acting so cute with Jungkook, even grabbed his cheeks and, albeit they weren't on top of each other as they used to be (which I think it's on purpose), they were still close and cute.

Taekookers are having a field day about the car riding though. It's funny how Jikook shared a car for years but it was just "because they have the same schedule! It's just for work!", and now Taehyung and Jungkook share the car like, two times, and that makes their ship SO real.

The double standard is insane.

I feel the same as you, anon. All it means is that Jungkook and Tae are friends. And no amount of car sharing (or hangouts or name-dropping) will change the fact that they are only friends and nothing more. But of course Tkkrs are celebrating this «win» as if it’s a competition between them and Jikookers, when their real competitor is their own lack of critical thinking skills.

I’m just so over Tkkrs’ antics. I really only care when they target Jimin, which is exactly what happened after cute videos of Jikook from the concert started popping up; basically, according to Tkkrs, everything Jungkook does related to Jimin is fanservice, and all of Jimin’s actions towards Jungkook consitute harassment. Which is just— wildy problematic. But it shows that Tkkrs clearly see the difference in how Jikook interact with each other, and that’s why they have to make up such ludicrous excuses to explain it away. They can’t attribute Jikook’s behaviour to them simply being friends. Because ‘just friends’ don’t act the way they do.
