He crawls up the wall of the building only to sit next to her...
@xchloroformedheartx
She was staring off to the side at the city light before she noticed the larger figure next to her, turning her head towards him. Behind her was a half empty fast food bag. "Surprised to see you here." That was all she said, but she didn't seem to mind the company.
He sat right on the edge of the building, his eyes watching what was below.
So you have been cranky over the break up huh? It's funny how we act...with lovers.
"Of... course you would know that."
Lucienne looked away with a quiet sigh, fidgeting with at her sleeve.
"Did Jasmine tell you, or have you been stalking us this whole time?"
The joke lacked its usual bite. Her voice was too soft, betraying how upset she still was.
Jasmine told me. It's not that hard to get information. You seem pretty upset about it. No surprise there huh? You two are really close. I doubt she will stray too far.
He stared aat the cars below.
Here I am dishing advice when I can't even hold a relationship.
He soured looking at the sky as a hint.
“She’s not even speaking to me right now. I feel…”
The words caught in her throat. Her grip tightened on her sleeve.
“I mean.. you do give good advice though, depending on the context“
He hummed as he slowly looked to the horizon.
Well that depends ...still I'm sure she will come looking for you when the time is right. Right now? Don't put your life on pause for another. Just live it.
The urge to actually spill everything, to tell him just how terrified she was. Jasmine wasn't just another relationship. The first healthy thing she’d ever had.
She hated that he was right. But giving space felt like opening the door and asking her to walk out.
“..easier said than done. But i guess i have to accept it. Even though I.. miss her."
He sighed as he slowly began to pretend he was flicking cars, toying around like a immature idiot.
He smirked a little under his mask.
You keep coddling her its...not giving her space. Give her space. People learn what they have when they are alone.
She went quiet, processing his words. Bringing a hand up to quickly wipe her eye, "Am I really doing that?" she asked.
Who am I to know what you are doing Lucienne.
I don't understand why she would simply just leave someone who means the world to her and blame it on not meant to be, why exactly isn't it meant to be hm?
There's always something it's not just for nothing.
She stared down at the street below, slowly wrapping her arms around herself.
"It doesn't matter," she whispered, her voice flat. "I really just want to forget about it.. I need a poison of choice or a lobotomy, literally right now." Lucienne trailed off, muttering the rest under her breath to herself.
That can always be arranged.
He spoke coldly. He often didn't really help situations as he leaned forward.
You both avoid the issue too much.
She looked over at him, her mouth opening like she was about to call him out on the avoidance comment, but it died before she could even start. Letting out a frustrated sigh, she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose.
"Let's just..." She trailed off, dropping her eyes to her lap "i NEED to drink until my brain stops working and I pass out. I don't want to be conscious right now."
Drazzic smirked a little as he hummed.
You know drinking won't help, just makes everything worse. You should commit your time to a better hobby. Like stalking.
Yes he really just made that comment behind his glitching raspy masked voice.
"I literally already do that, Drazzic."
She let out a quiet huff of air, almost laughing before her voice trailed off, genuinely tempted for a split second to go home later and do it again.
but the longer she sat on the roof, the more the calm started to creep back in.
"It so looks nice from up here," she muttered.
A small snort. He didn't move from the edge. It suited him, he didn't care if he died. He didn't care if he fell. He stretched a little, his back wing stretching along with him.
Yeah. I suppose.
She glanced over at him, leaning back slightly on her hands and letting her legs swing back and forth over the ledge. "Doesn't it get tiring carrying a wing on just one side? Seriously, it must mess up your back or something"
He snorted.
You get used to it after a while. It doesn't even compare to the pain of the other side. Exposed bone, a wound that never heals. Pain for eternity with it. Does it ever get tiring of carrying other peoples weight?
"I mean.. if you're asking me that question. Yea" She looked at his wing for a moment then down to her lap.
Then I suppose you understand now the heaviness of asking such a question.
He huffed a little.
Anyway....what have you been up to? Hopefully nothing boring.
"I wasn't in my room the whole time, surprisingly" she muttered "I spent half of the night sneaking around abandoned rail yards a d taking photos. It was kinda cool"

The only message jasmine received was a location. It was possibly that Lucienne wanted to meet there.
In less than twenty minutes... She arrived. Probably flying. Jasmine had a look you don't see very often. Serious. Somewhat sad.
She looked up at jasmine for a split second before dropping her eyes to the ground again. "I just wanted to know what your decision was." Lucienne spoke softly. "But I think I can guess.."
Jasmine moves closer until she is an arm's length away.
"...You probably already know, right?... You always knew me better than anyone else."
She nods a little. "So.. it's really the end? of us?" Lucienne picks at the edge of her sleeve, trying to focus on it to give her hands something to do as her chest tightens
Jasmine takes a breath, then exhales shakily.
"Yeah."
She grabs Luci's chin, making her look into her eyes.
"...I'm so sorry, Luci..."
For a moment she says nothing, just standing there under Jasmine's gaze. Her stomach dropped, keeping her eyes locked onto Jasmine's, but the strain shows in the way her shoulders tense up as she tries to keep her breathing steady.
"...Can we just..." she continues softly, her hands clenching into loose fists at her sides. "Can we kiss, just.. one more time.."
She glances at Luci for a second before smiling, moving a little closer. Warming her up.
"Of course."
She strokes her cheek.
A small breath slips out at the stroke against her cheek. Her eyes shut for a second. She doesn't pull back, instead leaning her face into the palm of Jasmine’s hand instinctively, reaching up with her own hand against Jasmine's cheek in return. Slowly leaning in to close the distance between them.
When the distance between them closes, the kiss is soft and slow. As if Jasmine were holding back. She stops the caresses of her hand, simply resting it on Luci's cheek.
She melts the second their lips meet, leaning all her weight into Jasmine. She wants more, wants her to actually hold her, to kiss her like she used to. Lucienne lets out a weak choke, starting to cry right there.
"Luci..."
She stops kissing her and hugs her, squeezing her tightly enough so that she can't hold anything back.
"...You'll be okay, I know it."
Lucienne wraps her arms around Jasmine, clinging to her harder. She buries her face in her shoulder, sobbing into her. Struggling to swallow the cries down, she chokes out, "I still love you."
"I know."
She wraps her wings around Lucienne, keeping her close. Jasmine gently strokes Luci's hair.
She will stay until Luci feels better.
"Why, jasmine.." She pulls back enough to look at the other "Why do you feel like this has to happen? I.."
"...You didn't do anything wrong. Okay? Nothing."
She says, looking away.
"...I don't want you to blame yourself for this."
She quickly wipes her eyes. "I'm scared to let you go. But it would be stupid of me to keep trying when you don't feel the same anymore.." Lucienne turned away, trying to compose herself again
The only message jasmine received was a location. It was possibly that Lucienne wanted to meet there.

He smirked a little under his mask.
You keep coddling her its...not giving her space. Give her space. People learn what they have when they are alone.
She went quiet, processing his words. Bringing a hand up to quickly wipe her eye, "Am I really doing that?" she asked.
