I think one of the main issues is people defending this by saying Gooseworks is trans too, and therefore all the hate towards Jax is transphobic, when that’s just a silly argument? Jax is shown as both a horrible person and a bad case of trans rep. We don’t need more characters who just do bad shit all the time and then give them a label. All it does is harm the community and continue to push negative stereotypes, especially against trans women. Coming from a trans person, there was hardly no inclination towards Jax being trans until the end. And even if it was hinted at, it was not used plot wise a single time. There’s no point to it.
