Why is the twomp fandom slacking so hard why is there only like 100 fics what are we doing bro am I doing something wrong??

*shoves my 5 abandoned twomp wips under a rug* It's because it's a small fandom

Let's say we have a group of 50 people who all like the same thing, how many of those people are into writing? How many would want to post their work? How many would actually do it? And how many of those people would write fanfics? (For example, I like writing but I'm more into writing (kinda shit) poems than fanfics)

Now ask those same questions to a group of 5000 people, it'll be far more people than in the first group simply because the sample size is larger

There may be some other reason(s) but that's what I can think of rn
