My favorite thing about the basement is probably the rest of the basement ghosts, I mean we dont have much to talk about besides the water heater, but they're good friends and we're always there for eachother

The upstairs I think would probably be the smells when @ghostly-dungeon-master-jay is cooking, cause he can make some really good stuff

I do go outside sometimes, I like to take walks around the property every now and then and see what's going on. Keep myself updated on the drama you know

Join clubs online, or, depending on where you live and your age, look for some in person. Take it slow, maybe do a few learning campaigns.

Memorize your character sheet! It'll help you tremendously when you have to make a decision on the spot

I saw that Elias made a blog and was bothering Hetty, trying to kill you, and I think trying to gain demon energy through getting people to send him confessions. So, of course, I use my ghost touch powers, make a blog, and decided to face that jerk head on.

And then, suddenly, all the ghosts were able to type on their own, but only on the blog site. Kinda like by facing Elias , I somehow managed to give them some of my power? Not sure.

What does that usually mean? Did I roll high on your nerd dice? Is this some Harry Potter crap?

Ooh, new thing for the ghost notes. Well do your powers get stronger as time goes on? Maybe you just built up enough emotion that it caused an outburst of powers? It could be a lot of things. I'm not as well versed on ghostie stuff as you guys are

I just sorta faced this sucker head on.I think I mentioned something about gathering every last ghost at Woodstone to make sure he couldn’t take you, or any of us down, how I’m all into “hero moves” and “heroes always beat the villain”…a whole monologue thing, because eff that dude. I did just try to pick up one of your decorative sword things, and it didn’t work. I fell through the wall, and it was an outside facing wall, so it hurt and everyone saw my butt.

I wonder if any ghosts have a sword power. I know Thor has an ax, but that’s because he died with it on him. He’s cut off my hand several times with it.

Nah. I was trying to grab it, but I don’t think I can “grab” yet, or at all. It was pretty high up, which is how I ended up falling through the wall.

Eh. Really good, but also…not. I actually wanted to chat with you about this, because you’re a wife guy. We’re closer than ever, and being partners to each other; call ourselves “power friends”…because I said I didn’t want to get back together. But only because I didn’t want to risk us breaking up again…which was stupid at the moment, and I just blurted it out. So, I get why she would go on a date with that cousin of yours….(your family has good genes, what can I say). But now that we’re closer than ever, it’s put things in perspective. I’m down really bad. Really effing bad. Like, sometimes I think about wanting to marry her bad. And I know she’s into me. We’re all connected and stuff. But still, it’s a lot & I’m all over the place.

One of the reasons me and Sam are relatively healthy is because we communicate. I know that sounds super cliche, but it's true. Communication is one of the most important things you can have. If you just tell her that you've been thinking about it and you actually do want to be with her, then either she says yes and you guys are happy together, or she says no and you guys don't have any secrets between you anymore. Either way it's a good outcome. And even if it turns out horribly, at least you don't have anything on your chest anymore. Maybe that's just how my relationship works though

You’re right. I’ve been a lot more open with her lately, especially since the blogs. I’m better at writing than talking. But, thing is, I’ve messed up with her. A lot. I’ve been into her since pretty much the moment I died. But I have this stupid thing with my brain…sorry for the TMI, but you’re a modern dude. Bipolar II. Not like Bipolar I where I hallucinate and stuff. But I get these “hypomania” things where I act irrationally & don’t realize it. Anyway, I was kinda having an episode when there was the Eric thing. Then I sorta was like “wait, I’m into Hetty”, but instead of asking her out, I hooked up with her. So, I kept calling it “hooking up” because I was freaking out she didn’t actually like me. Then later I ended things with her because I flipped out over other stuff. Then I learned how she died and was in a really bad depression for a while. Bottom line is, I worry I’ve messed it up too much, and what if I mess it up again?

And honestly, compared to the rest of them, I don’t know. Isaac and Alberta seriously got in our faces and literally forbid us from dating each other again. Like we were their kids! They said we were “too much drama”, but I think Alberta was originally coming from a place of concern because of Hetty’s cause of death & my breakdown when I found out. Still, it was rude. But Isaac…kinda pissed at him. Especially after all the crap he pulled at his wedding, and how Hetty & I supported his and Nigel’s marriage even after Nigel blackmailed me and Hetty and almost ruined our relationship once.

Oh shit yeah, that's... a lot. I'll be honest man, I'm not the best at working out drama. I tend to just avoid it when i can...

As far as the messing up stuff i get that. I mean, not in the same way as you obviously, but I've been in some rough relationships in the past where I ruined a lot of it. I don't regret it now of course, it led to me meeting sam, and i wouldn't change that for anything, but i definitely felt that at the time. It's not your responsibility to take on other people's feelings. Obviously don't be a complete jerk, but if there's a chance you two could be happy for the rest of your afterlife because of this, the risk is worth the reward.

That's my opinion, but in the end the decision comes down to you.

And thanks. That makes sense. I regret a lot of stuff from my life and sometimes get caught up in how I died and stuff; but then I think about my friends here and Hetty, and it’s like “well, if I hadn’t died, then I wouldn’t know any of them and would have been stuck with my crappy ‘bros’ who dumped my body in the lake”. And, I mean, turns out the hottest girl I’ve ever laid eyes on is a Victorian chick who died in 1895. Who’d have guessed! I know, weird comparison, but I get what you’re saying about crap things leading to good things. I’m going to tell her eventually, but now everyone and their pet Puritan dirt ghost (I think I adopted Patience), is in a relationship, so it won’t seem as special. Weird as it sounds. I kinda want to do some romcom big declaration of love…weird as it sounds, after everything I said, but I’m a romantic guy.

I just said it one day. We were sitting in her apartment, eating dinner and watching a movie. She was laughing at something on the screen, and seeing her laugh just... It made me feel so happy and it made my heart melt. I could tell right then and there that I wanted to see her laugh for forever. I would do anything to make her laugh, or even smile just a little bit. She was absolutely beautiful. Not just physically but in personality too. Everything just clicked. And i just blurted it out randomly.

She ended up saying it back, we both cried that night and, ... well now we're here. I wouldn't change a thing.
