I am the father of the child Mohammed, who suffers from partial paralysis on the left side since birth, loss of vision in the left eye, and brain atrophy. A shunt was installed in his brain due to abnormal fluid accumulation (hydrocephalus). My name is Nour, and I’m a mother of five incredible children living in Gaza. For the past two years, we’ve endured the devastation of war. Our home was completely destroyed, and our lives were shattered. My children—once thriving, high-achieving students—lost access to education, safety, and the most basic necessities of life.

We were displaced more than ten times, living in a fragile tent through scorching summers and freezing winters. Our house was bombed, and both my children and I were injured. Despite everything, my children remain full of hope and determination.

Now, I am in the early months of pregnancy and urgently need stability, shelter, and medical care. I’ve found an apartment to rent, but the cost is over €350 per month—far beyond what I can afford. The apartment also needs essential repairs, including windows and doors, which will cost €10,000 due to soaring prices.

But this is only the beginning. I also need to start rebuilding our destroyed home—a place where my children can grow up safely, return to school, and dream again. Rebuilding will take time, resources, and support from kind-hearted people like you.

💔 My wife and I have been living in a thin, worn-out tent since the war destroyed our apartment in Jabalia. Our tent can’t protect us from the cold, the rain, or the storms.
