Ava didn’t know how much longer she would be able to stand it. Her body was tearing itself apart, her disease eating away at her body… her soul. She wants a cure, she needs a cure. It was going to drive her insane. Or maybe it already has.
Her original plan was to steal from Hank Pym– however when she discovered that a scientist from Wakanda was coming to California, she knew that her revenge could wait. When she arrived she had discovered it to be almost empty– except for a few guards that she was able to slip past due to her invisibility (even with her almost uncontrollable phasing). And yet, it didn’t seem to work on the one person she had found inside.
Ghost appeared behind the man.– Which she quickly discovered to be the king of Wakanda. She did not know how she should behave. To treat him with respect?– Like an enemy? ❛ Hi ,❜
the presence does not startle him, but the apparatus is not an expected guest either. whoever it is, they’re dressed in all grey, as if the white of their suit ( ? ) was filthied, and it’s fairly perceptible even under the dimmed lights of the room. the way they’re blurred into solid matter amazes him, to say the least, although it doesn’t seem that they are there to hurt him. if that was the case, it wouldn’t be hesitation that he’s smelling now. and if that was the case, they could’ve done it before he even responded.
instead, he smells fear. but he has an inkling, from their body language, that they know who he is. otherwise, they wouldn’t have been so in doubt. when they finally speak, he registers the voice as a female, reeking of vacillation.
a greeting like that is something that he’s used to facing. not everyone knows how to treat a king, and he comprehends the situation, more or less. interests piqued, he nods at her, and replies back with a, ❛ hello. ❜ there’s no question asked, but he’s certain that she knows he’s expecting an explanation on the uninvited visit.
