It’s so cute when kittens act like actual kittens

I’m so used to my dog being weird and not acting like a stereotypical dog. She does sometimes but not usually

But this little guy acts so much like an actual kitten that it’s odd to me. Which I’m not quite sure what that says her sister because we had her over for little 3 days or so? And that kitten was so much easier to predict than the one I have

Okay so I’m not really one for crossovers howeverrrrrrr I might’ve come across something that includes Dazai living in the Harry Potter universe and him finding a father figure in Snape and now I’m kinda intrigued and interested and there’s a fic on ao3 and I really want to read it but I’m not sure but it looks really cute so i don’t really know what to do but everyone says it’s really good and who would I be if I didn’t engage in something that has found family, fun dynamics, and the people’s heart? NO ONE THATS WHO

All those times I thought “I’m gonna remember this moment later on” I was right because I DID remember those moments later on and it makes me sick to think I can’t go back to them

Makes it worse when there’s a person connected to them

I only went there for 3 summers and yet it was the most relaxed and unbothered I had ever been. Every day was something new and I fucking loved it. Organizing movie disks while watching Shrek 2, painting in the kitchen and splattering paint on each other’s clothes, going kayaking and freaking out about the jellyfish, getting mail and going on several side quests before even reaching the mailboxes, listening to music on the swing set and bonding over Lemon Demon, playing just dance and making her mom laugh with sarcastic comments about how good I am as I was actively losing points, playing epic Mickey and us not understanding the fucking lock mechanisms (you had to do it a specific way and we ignored it until we didn’t have a choice), the smell of overly sweet popcorn and Dr Pepper, watching Alice in wonderland on her bed, picking berries in 100 degree heat, the way she would switch the knocks she’d make on my door to wake me up, rocking on the hammock and trying our damn best to not flip over, the music festival, driving back home listening to oldies and sticking my hand out the window while they sang along, talking about how good Flowers from 1970 is and her trying to get me to finish it (still have not finished it but I will….one day)

It’s hard not to miss something like that. I really miss those days a lot. But I know future me will miss the days I’m having now. Maybe not as much as those summers but I know I’ll miss this. And I know I’ll continue to do stuff that future me will look back on and miss. It doesn’t have to be sad, it just means I’m living a life worth remembering. And I’m eternally grateful for that gift.

I may have started a 450k fic and now it’s too good to back out 🧍‍♂️

I genuinely thought this thing was like a good 150k words because that’s my average for fics so I was going based off that. And I’m just not starting chapter 6 and I thought “Hey I should look at the word count real quick” and then got jumpscared. I’m not stopping because it’s a genuinely interesting fic so far, but the number did scare me ngl
