Yay more au stuff

(Pt 1)

Ok I need to ramble about this au for a little. I always thought it was so cool how the more mechanical Pin became, the more violent she got. So I wanted to explore deeper into the idea of Pin struggling to feel like a person when she’s basically part robot. Secretly hating the mech suit and the way it doesn’t feel real to her despite acting somewhat like limbs.

We see throughout bfdia that Coiny kinda dismisses her emotions as long as they’re helpful for challenges, so I wanted to amplify that here. Coiny despite caring so much for Pin, ends up making her bottle up her emotions further because he proves he isn’t a safe space for her, and it’s what leads her to become more violent in later episodes and eventually accidentally kill him

Pin - I can’t believe you sometimes, do you even understand what you’ve done!? After everything I’ve been through I deserved that win, and you threw it away! For what? Your stupid contest fantasies? Now I have nothing! Just look at me-!

Coiny - seriously Pin do you know how tired you make me? You don’t even care about how I feel, so why don’t I get to have some fun too? I deserve to win just as much as you do. If you’re eliminated it’s your own fault for the way you act. After the last contest you are in no place to talk

Making more gijinkas :) thought process and ideas below

Ok for Needle it took a bit of brainstorming because I’m still figuring out how far I want to push the creature theming. I’m trying to give everyone a little feature like horns, tails, antennas etc. I just straight up turned needle into a rabbit/hare BUT FOR GOOD REASON. For one rabbits are super athletic, and have you seen how tall a hare is? I think it matches Needle’s physical capabilities and also her high pitched voice lol. Second is that I didn’t know how to showcase her needle shape and pointy rabbit ears came to mind. And finally I love needle and I love rabbits

The ribbons are a nod to sewing and threads and stuff ofc, I like to think she can do cool tricks with the ribbons or whatever

For Book, all I knew beforehand was that I wanted to give her butterfly wings, and I freestyled everything else from there. Istg I went through so many different versions of outfits, colors and hairstyles but I really like the final outcome. Might change her monocle into glasses tho that’s still on the table.

She can’t actually fly, maybe hover for a few seconds but that’s about it. They more so showcase the fragility a book would have. The fun scroll tail rolls in and out whenever she needs it, displaying any info she’s looking for.
