Fire and ice - Bowie/Axl-Rose
Bowie was completely focused on the task that was at hand. Trying to track down and kill this mythological creature, a Bunyip, before it could kill other people. She couldn’t, no, she shouldn’t think of anything else right now. But why did it feel like this was their ultimate test? One that could become incredibly dangerous, if they were unable to work together as a team, something they hadn’t done in years. She swallowed, and briefly turned her attention to the weapon she was holding in her hands. A similar shotgun, but somewhat smaller than her sisters. Other than that, she had strapped as many weapons on her petite body as she could carry along with her. You never knew what you could need out there after all..
Bo noticeably relaxed when the kangaroo appeared to them. Shaking her head a little she turned her attention to her older sister. She nodded in response to what she said.
‘’Then let’s go..”
She responded softly, only just loud enough for her sister to hear.
“Shall I go first? Or would you prefer to? In that case, I’ll cover you..”
She added quickly, trying to keep the peace between the two of them.
“ I could never let you risk your life. I’ll go first. “
She murmured with a painful expression written upon her face. Russell had left her side by dying a tiny bit too early. Her father was repulsed by seeing her passing by in his waking nightmares. And she had no idea what her mother felt about all this. They would have murdered her, knowing that she had no human input or whatsoever. Thinking she wasn’t responsible enough to take care of her little sister. Whom dwelled upon this sickening earth. If there was a chance to die today, Axl-Rose would take it with both hands. There was only one being whom cared a bit about her. A person whom could be called Bowie, a small restless spirit whom wandered around and showed kindness towards the world. Bringing it some illuminating light, which shone brighter than the starts on heaven. Brighter than even the sun. An enchanting beam of powerful light, bright as the biggest supernova. Yes, her baby sister would dwell with misery. Though all would disappear if she knew the millions of secrets. Things their father would never share. How she had mistreated all of the members called the Turner family.
“ Just keep your eyes open, there has to be something odd about the entire thing. Like, maybe the thing glows in the night? A perfect little light, illuminating us all and thus distracting his prey. Like those angler-fish. “
Axl impatiently shrugged her shoulders and continued their walk. Pushing aside the branches, taking careful steps. Afraid she would create a noise. Eyes whom had been fixated upon something – a shade – in the distance. It was distracting. That was for sure, maybe some hunter beat them to it? But what where the odds.
