I am so in love with this baby. I found her at a Tuesday Morning and have been adoring on her ever since. She is an AI Marigold, though I am not sure what I am going to call her yet. I know that she's not a "proper" BJD being made out of vinyl instead of resin, but she's my first BJD ever. It's really fascinating to see how they're put together, and how well they pose.
I can't stop playing with her. I think I'm going to make her a series of pajamas. My friend thinks I should make Captain America pjs first, and I think I'm gonna do it. And maybe make or give her a new wig, eventually...
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to send me a Den of Angels Invite? I've had people offer, but they never came through, and I would really appreciate if someone could do this for me!

Yeah, there was one other but she looked like she just stepped out of the Brady Bunch Variety Hour, very Holly Hobby. They get them in from time to time so, keep checking. The one I got the other day was my second one I've gotten from there. I'm an opener usually too but for some reason these intimidate me lol.
I was all "I don't know what you mean" but I was going to open my redhead once I finished my homework for the weekend...and couldn't make myself do it. She's sitting on my desk in her box, because I feel like she needs some special reason to be opened or something.

That's so funny, I just got the French sailor looking one on Wednesday at Tuesday Morning. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna open her...it seems too special to just open up.
She is of great quality. I am a total box opener, because I love playing with my dolls. She's so detailed she even has proper undies (no bra though, unfortunately).
I was shocked to find them. Did you see any besides the two I picked up, out of curiosity?
Some silliness between my new J-Doll and mini Dal, and the other Queens of my collection, Theresa (an Integrity Toys Tulabelle) and Mina Harker (an Integrity Toys Bride of Dracula). Theresa seems to have adopted Dor, and Mina is either teaching Marche wonderful things about Vampire hunting or corrupting her.

Then I stopped by Tuesday Morning on a whim and hit the jackpot. They had two J-Dolls for $20 each. I can't get near that price even on ebay. I've wanted one for quite a while now and to find two at a local store is just amazing. They also had four little mini-Pullips, which I'm not overly fond of, but they were $10 a piece and I couldn't resist the Dormouse.
I'm so amazed by the J-Doll's detail and can't stop sitting here squeeing over them. Better pictures later, but these are the two I got:
Honestly, all these rumors about InvisiBilly... at this point Garrett Sander himself could personally tell me "An Invisibilly doll is coming out!" and I'd be like "pics or it didn't happen."
So I may have gotten a little excited about dolls this past month. In my defense, 13 Wishes Frankie was a gift, and the others...well. They were $10 at Target. I cannot pass up $10 deluxe dolls, okay?

Going chronologically backwards... Originally I was only going to get Catrine of the New Scaremester, but I stood in the toy aisle for a good fifteen minutes yesterday fussing before I decided that if I did not get Clawdeen and Jinafire while they were half off, I would regret it. I was right. Catrine is still my favorite, but I love all of them.
Admittedly I only got this Clawdeen because A) Leather Jacket, B) She has leopard print eyeshadow, how cool is that? But then I got her home and did something magical: washed that horrible glue out of her hair. Suddenly, she is adorable. I need to do some trimming of it, as there are random long pieces but otherwise I am very glad I picked her up.
All you need to know is Catrine is fabulous and I love her. I want her outfit in my size so very bad. The shoes are gorgeous (they remind me of Rochelle's Scaris shoes, one of the best designs Monster High has ever produced), and she has an adorable tail ribbon! I did not even notice it until I was getting her out of the box.
Jinafire's eyes are so big they always seem a little wonky, but am glad for one I don't feel guilty about taking her hair down. I may end up boiling it straight. I love her shirt (just look at that awesome skeletal design) and the shoes (fuu dogs!), but those pants just aren't doing it for me at all. I am going to have to find something that goes well with the rest of her outfit to replace them with.
Here is the new Queen of my collection. I never had a Torlelai before, but I had gotten some of Torelai's original clothing, so I bought two Catastrophes. And can I just say she looks amazing. She was the worst to photograph, though; these were the only good pictures out of like ten.
13 Wishes Frankie was a gift from a friend, and I have to say, she's stunning. I love the lightning piece on her upper dress.
Last but not least, we finally got Catastrophe and Voltageous, and since they were $10, I finally got Wonder Wolf as well! I'd been putting off getting her and Polterghoul... sadly, I can't seem to find Polterghoul anywhere now. I am hoping she shows up soon, so can snag her and complete this wave.
Add me to the list of people untracking the Monster High tag. People on both sides of this are acting like assholes and clogging up the tag with their opinions instead of a) having an adult discussion, or b) taking the conversation to Youtube/Kittesmama's parents themselves and actually possibly changing something (if they were offended), instead of playing the White Knight for either Kittiesmama or against racism on tumblr to make themselves feel just.
