“Losing a relationship hurts. But losing yourself in a relationship hurts deeper.”
— Unknown
“The pride of mankind will be brought low, and human loftiness will be humbled; the Lord alone will be exalted on that day. The idols will vanish completely. People will go into caves in the rocks and holes in the ground, away from the terror of the Lord and from his majestic splendor, when he rises to terrify the earth. On that day people will throw their silver and gold idols, which they made to worship, to the moles and the bats. They will go into the caves of the rocks and the crevices in the cliffs, away from the terror of the Lord and from his majestic splendor, when he rises to terrify the earth. Put no more trust in a mere human, who has only the breath in his nostrils. What is he really worth?”

Isaiah 2:17-22 (CSB)
The day of the Lord would hold terror for the disobedient. Isaiah is calling the Israelites to walk in the light so it would not terrify them.
While other worldviews lead us to sit in the midst of life’s joys, foreseeing the coming sorrows, Christianity empowers its people to sit in the midst of this world’s sorrows, tasting the coming joy.

Hey! God bless you!
This space is safe for EVERYONE. No matter race, ethnicity, beliefs, or age. The Word of God is for everyone to hear, and God is God over all, and everyone.
John 3:16-21 says:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
May God continue to bless you! love xx
You are forever carved into my skin, my heart, my soul, my life. I will always be yours. Only yours.
idontdeservetobehere, I am miserable with you but I still love you so deeply and passionately. (via wordsnquotes)
Christians should not be optimists; we know too much about sin. We should also not be pessimists, for we know the living God.

Possession isn’t love. I don’t want dominion over you. I want you to keep your wings. I want you wild with freedom. I don’t want to hold your hand in this life. I want to walk beside you, watch you run ahead and look back at you as you fall behind; always knowing that you’ll catch up and I’ll make my way back to you as we reach the peak of the same mountain.
dittemia (via wordsnquotes)
God is spirit. So the people who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
Worship is not just singing songs on Sunday morning, it’s an act of surrender that is seen in obedience. Worship is not just raising your hands and feeling the moment, but rather it is giving up your life in exchange to His and glorifying God every moment of it.
When you worship God, He doesn’t care about how well you sing, He cares about how well you know the One you sing about. When you worship Him, He doesn’t care about your external show, but rather He cares about what is inside your heart.
