Driving to Albuquerque to urgent care for a pinched nerve in my back. The pain has been excruciating. It rivals the pain I had with kidney stones. The doctor gave me a shot of Tizanidine (muscle relaxer) but refused to give me anything for pain! I was in tears. All I asked for was a shot of Toradol, which is an anti-inflammatory! I didn’t ask for narcotics. It’s barbaric to leave someone in the pain I’ve been in. On a positive note, it was a beautiful day and the drive to Albuquerque is a beautiful view. My shy, little Chloe. She’s taking some work getting her to trust me. A big part of the challenge is she has pink eyes. They don’t see as well as those with ruby or black eyes.
