The Sandrotten are necromancers hailing from antique lands, trained in ancient embalming techniques and accustomed to working with preserved corpses. They have a limited facility for calling on the desert itself.
I said I would start posting some more CR fanart, and this is my first humble offering.
My usual illustrations take too long, so I'm aiming to be fast with these sketchy portraits.

I was planning for this to be a quick study using the awesome reference pack I bought from TrueRef, but it ended up being more detailed character piece, and I can't complain. It was especially fun rendering out the materials.
