'You may be a master sushi chef, but I'M a master ninja!'
Hey there, it's Jay! Master Wu is finally letting us have a little bit of extra free time (like thirty minutes of it..), so I thought this could be fun now that I have the time for it!!
Frequently asked questions (that nobody has actually asked)
Q: What's your favorite video game?
A: Prime empire! It's alot more fun when no one's being cubed. And the avatar customization options are AWESOME.
Q: Who do you play as in mario kart?
A: Funky Kong
Q: Did you set the practice room on fire?
A: NO!!
Feel free to ask more questions!! I'll answer them as soon as I have some time to log in.

SUPER COOL COLLAGE MADE BY MY SUPER COOL FRIEND @greenninjaren
Out of character
Hi, I'm Raymond (he/him), my main is @piraterefrigerator!!! I'm not super familiar with roleplaying canon characters, so bare with me pretty please. Also, Fugi-Dove dni is a joke. Fugi-Dove please interact
I have a ninjago oc! You can find him at @sunbound-ninja
This blog is pre-dragons rising, but post merge blogs are welcome to interact! I've seen DR, I just shant be doing post merge Jay on this blog. For the sake of simplicity, I'll say Jay's a teen pre-sons of garmadon and a young adult from there on out, but that can vary if need be.
By default, interactions will take place after Crystalized but before the merge, but I'm willing to do roleplays in any season!! Especially skybound..
I'm also open to just about any Jay ships within the realms of legality and reason, as well as multishipping, but Jaya and Bruise are my all time favorites. If any romantic relationships arise on this blog I'll tag the ships appropriately on their respective threads. And my blog isn't in a closed group, so any and all are welcome to interact!
My jaylist, if you so desire it

Kyoshi walked the market, ears raised to catch the bustling sounds of people around her. She kept hearing people talk about the ninja, and quite frankly she was eavesdropping a little. Honestly, she was on a little search for the ninja. She liked watching them fight, it was cool.
She hadn't really been looking ahead, however... this caused the issue of her colliding with someone going the same direction, falling to the ground in a slight daze. She blinked at the figure, feeling like he was at least a little familiar.
"Oh, sorry!" She scrambled back to her feet, giving him a once over. "You're one of the ninja," She realized. Ah, well, terrible first impression. Her ears flick back somewhat, a sheepish motion.
"Sorry!" Jay scrambled to apologize, glancing up and down at her to make sure she was alright. "Are you alright?"
He blinked a couple times, seemingly having forgotten that he was one of the ninja for a moment amidst everything. He wondered if he'd ever get used to being recognized in public all the time.
"Oh! Yeah, that's me!" He nodded. "Sorry, uhh.. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Clearly.."
Her ears tilted forward as he spoke, processing his tone and body language. He didn't seem upset or mad, so she took that as a sign to keep him in a conversation.
"Me neither, I guess." She admitted she, too, had been oblivious to her path. Perhaps she should've paid more attention, but the past was the past. She shouldn't linger.
"Uhm, Jay, right?" She tilted her head at him slightly, displaying her curiosity. She could probably stretch this into an actual conversation, right? It'd be fun bragging rights. "I'm Kyoshi,"
Kyoshi took his outstretched hand, half expecting to get zapped by the lightning elemental. That didn't stop her, though.
"Thank you," She preened at the compliment, tails swaying slightly in what was likely her being flattered.
Wait, did he just ask if she came here often? Kyoshi blinked, trying to figure out if that was a joke or not. "The... market? Doesn't everyone?" She glanced around, as if she'd spot a nearby location he was talking about. She didn't.
"No problem!!" He grinned. He shook her hand a little too quickly, before abruptly letting go. Too bad he hadn't caught on to his father's firm handshake.
"Uhm...." He scratched the back of his neck. Aw man, stupid question.. "Y-yeah! I meant... this market! I think there's another one on the other side of the city....?"
She hadn't been aware there was a second market, how interesting. It was kinda cute how he seemed to stumble to correct himself, and quite honestly she couldn't help giggling.
"Is there?" Her ears tilt forward, making sure to display that he had her full attention for the moment.
Kyoshi tilted her head to the side, clearly interested. "Haven't heard of it before," she began, gaze clicking aside then back to him.
"Maybe you can show me it sometime." Kyoshi attempts to be charming, hands behind her back. Her grin downplays the wink, and makes her look more silly than any sort of charming.
Jay couldn't stop his jaw from dropping for a second, though he quickly shut his mouth again.
Had she asked him out?? After he fumbled like that?! He was up on his luck, maybe he should get a lottery ticket on his way back to the monastery. That's what his dad would say.
"Uh- yeah! Totally!" He stumbled over his words. "That'd be awesome! Uhh.. we could stop for food after? If you wanted?"
Kyoshi blinks, trying to put recollection to the place in question. "The one that used to have that creepy old guy running it?" Chen, she thinks, was his name.
She never really bothered to research that... she just knew something happened, and someone else took over the business. Again, not really something she'd bothered with.
"Sure, I don't see why not!" Her tails fluff up slightly, ears tilting forward just a smidge. She grins a fanged smile.
