Noticing his hands reaching out for some reason, Giga moved away automatically-- letting his hands miss hers. Inwardly, she winced slightly. Ahhh, this was a mere habit of hers to avoid physical contact and it often caused misunderstanding, but ah well. It could be made up for by helping him with whatever he needed, right?
"Ah, it's no problem, no problem!" She grinned at him anyway, as if to dismiss what had just transpired. Something he couldn't live without? Her curiosity as to what that was grew....several questions popped up in her mind. What was it? Why was it possible to lose something like that? How did he lose it? Instead of firing off all these questions at once, though (Flow is an important thing!), she let out a little laugh. "In that case, we better find it before your life ends!" she joked.
At his little tip off, however, her expression seemed to pause itself. Ah... Giga had no idea what was happening on the other side, but-- her other self seemed to be doing well....? It wasn't like she had any real grudge against that girl, but that news felt.....odd. It seemed to dampen her mood, slightly... which was surprising to Giga. Perhaps it was because there was a possibility that everyone welcomed the original her as part of them already, which would be....to say the least, disappointing....for Giga herself. A...hh, whatever...At least someone was benefiting from the exchange-- She tried to force herself to think on the brighter side, but she couldn't shake the strange feeling from the possibility that most people could be doing fine without her.....Â
...that maybe they didn't need her back there?
No, stop being dumb, those kinds of thoughts wouldn't even matter in the end, anyway...
"Ah, is that so?" She inwardly scolded herself for the almost flat tone in her voice. "Good for them, then. Then we should follow their example and become friends, huh?" She placed both fists on her hips and grinned at him-- she wasn't really serious, but the finality of being stuck here couldn't be denied.
