COLE BOGGS - LOVER? - While they were never officially boyfriend and girlfriend, Gigi considered herself his girl. She practically broke the law for his sake and he really tested the limits of her loyalty. She loved him very much but he never loved her back. He taught her how to have a backbone and take what she wants and speak up more for herself. It taught her to stop letting people step all over her and led to her telling her firends when she thought they were being shitty towards her. Still he couldn’t break her good heart so she still wouldn’t be as cruel as him. She saw something in him, nothing she’d call good, but something she felt kindred with. Like they were similar somehow. He ended up leaving and she ended things after that. Even when he came back she stayed away, unwilling to go through the hell of that rollercoaster again. She wanted better.

MADDOX LAHEY- FIRST LOVE, HUSBAND, BABY DADDY - Gigi though Maddox was adorable when she first saw him. She was completely oblivious to his crush on her until he finally kissed her and they started dating. After that it went the way Gigi thought relationships should go. Simple, sweet, perfect. He was her best friend and her boyfriend and it was all working out. Then when things got complicated with Cole, Gigi felt that she was being unfair to Maddox and would do better as friends. So they broke up. Still Gigi remained loyal to Maddox through every phase, relationship, accomplishment, and hardship. Sometimes they had to be on and off because of Gigi’s mixed feelings for him but he always loved him. Eventually when she grew up, she and Maddox found themselves at what seemed like the right place to start again. But he left for the army and came back with a girlfriend which broke her heart. Hearing they wwere getting arried destoryed whatever hope she had for them until Maddox changed his mind and left Julie for her. It was a bit of a messy do over but eventually they ended up back together and Gigi realized that the first time wasn’t what they should have been. This time was. After they had finished growing up and becoming new people, they were now where they were suposed to be. And she couldn’t be happier with him and their little ohana. Maddox brings out the best in her and is the light in her life. Until Jane was born anyway.
