Hunter: I'll make sure to have some food delivered to your dorm later then. A few things you can keep on your fridge and just heat up when it's time for a meal. Nothing /too/ healthy, I promise.

Hunter: It is. That's my life. I've been told I need to learn how to loosen up, but this is how I've been living for a long time. This afternoon sounds good, Genny. No need to rush it. Halloweentown it is then. To be honest, I can't hardly name any movie. I haven't seen many as well. As long as it's something you like, I can't wait to watch it with you. I'll be back in a few minutes and then we can get that started.

GiGi: You want to do that? I'm...Shocked, honestly. Not necessarily in a bad way I just...I don't know. That's very sweet of you Hunter. I really appreciate that.

GiGi: I think the better question is, do /you/ think you need to loosen up? Okay, good. We'll...See where things are. Good, I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for not judging me. You haven't seen many movies? I'm disappointed. Maybe we'll have to fix that. The door is open, you can just come in.

GiGi: Are you...Is it...Am I allowed to cuddle with you?

Hunter: You got to make sure you eat, Genny. Those moves won't dance themselves. I want you to be able to do your best.

Hunter: Thank you.

Hunter: I do, I want to. It's alright - some adjusting here and there won't kill it. You can tag along too, if you want. Going on a run must bring a benefit or two to you as well. So, what movie do you want to watch?

GiGi: I...Right. I know. I just...Haven't really been hungry. Lately. I guess. Thank you for thinking about me, though. That means a lot. It does.

GiGi: That's a big thing, I know. Your whole life is based around schedules. I know that. Yeah, I mean...I can tag along. Maybe this afternoon, or after the movie or something. I'm not super picky. Maybe something light. Funny. Not necessarily super heavy or emotional. Maybe something like...I know it's silly, but...Maybe 'Halloweentown'? I know it's not the season or anything.

Hunter: I did, yes. I know, but I wanted to. I'll grab you some sliced fruits then. And that coffee. You can eat them later if you don't feel like having them now.

Hunter: I did too.

Hunter: Just the usual. Going for a run, the gym, some light reading. Unless you feel like watching a movie with me today. Your pick.

GiGi: That's sweet. Thank you. I appreciate that, Hunter. Really.

GiGi: I'm...Glad you did.

GiGi: Sounds like a full day. I...I mean, yeah, we can watch a movie. That would be really nice. If you want. I don't...Want to interrupt or throw off your routine though. I know it's important.

Hunter: Hello, Genny. Good morning. I stepped outside to grab us breakfast. Is there something you're craving? I'm having a sandwich and some coffee myself.

Hunter: I hope you had... a good night of sleep.

GiGi: Hello, Hunter. Morning. You did? You...Didn't have to do that. I don't...Feel much like eating, but coffee is fine, thank you.

GiGi: Yeah. I hope you did too.

GiGi: So...What are your plans for the day?

Sebastian listened, chewing on the inside of his lower lip anxiously as he tried to go back over everything in his head. “Well, first, I want you to know that I’m not upset, okay? I want to make this better for you, babe. How about we get Hunter over here and we’ll talk some things out, re-work some stuff,” He said, offering the girl a gentle smile as he leaned in and affectionately nuzzled her temple. “I’m not trying to be short, I just think we should have this conversation with him too, so we’re all on the same page. We both just want you to be happy too, Genny. It just takes some trial and error to find a happy medium, because I can promise you that neither of us want you to feel that way, and neither of us are going to be upset that you feel this way.”

Listening as Sebastian spoke, Genevieve did her best to take everything in. Her mind felt like a muddled mess, and her stomach was in knots. After several moments she nodded, dropping her head once again. “Yeah. That’s fine. Whatever you think. I get it.”

F2F: GENBASTIAN​

Sebastian took a breath and kicked his shoes off before moving up the bed, sitting criss-crossed next to Genny and sliding an arm around her shoulders as he rested his other hand in his lap. “I’m sorry you’re cold, sweetheart. We could get under the covers if you want?” He murmured, leaning down and pressing a lingering kiss to the side of her head. He stayed there for a few moments, then looked down to watch her fidgeting. “It is our day. I just wasn’t sure you’d want to see me. Or talk to me for that matter. I don’t know. It was probably stupid, and I shouldn’t have assumed,” He murmured, furrowing his eyebrows when he caught a glimpse of that tear just before she turned her head to conceal it. Knowing he played a role in that caused his chest to tighten. “I haven’t really spoken to him today. Not since last night, anyway. But he was fine, I think.” Sebastian brought a hand up to carefully rest over Genny’s cheek, a thumb carefully swiping the tear away. “I’ll start reaching out more, okay? I’ll do better. And my phone is always open, Gen. If you want to talk to me, I want you to reach out. Blow me up about your day, spam me with selfies. Whatever you want, and I’ll do the same.”

When Sebastian moved and wrapped his arm around her, Genevieve stiffened slightly, relaxing after a moment. “It’s fine. I’m just...I don’t know. We can, if you want.” Lifting the blanket she was already under, she gave Sebastian the option to join her under the blankets. Feeling Sebastian’s lips, Gen couldn’t help but to allow a few more tears to escape her eyes. “I don’t know what to say, Sebastian. I guess I should’ve just asked if I had questions.” Shrugging, she lifted a hand to wipe away the still-falling tears. “Yeah.” She said simply, taking in a shaking breath. “I don’t know, Sebastian. I just...Don’t know. Sometimes I feel...” Stalling, she continued to chew her lip as she considered her words carefully. On one hand, she didn’t want to start more drama. She didn’t want to be the cause of yet another problem, another issue to be fixed. She didn’t want to feel the way she felt, though she just couldn’t help it. “Sometimes I feel like this isn’t going to work. Like it’s just...You and Hunter on the bike, and me pedaling along behind. Sure, you stop and look back, make sure I’m okay, let me catch up, and then we start off again together but...I feel like no matter what I do, it won’t ever be me on the bike with you two. I’m not blind, and I’m not dumb. I realize that you two have something...Different. Than what I have with either of you. I feel like there’s just this...Wall that no matter what I do, I can’t break through. I’m on the outside looking in and I just...Sometimes feel like I’m too tired to keep trying.”

Sebastian followed closely, keeping quiet for the most part despite that shiver not escaping his notice. Good thing he brought the hoodie, even if it was originally intended as more of a comfort thing. “Hey, Gen,” He said, keeping his tone on the softer side as he moved to sit on the edge of the bed. “I… brought this for you. I figured it might help, but you’re cold?” He tried, extending the hoodie out as he looked over the excessive number of blankets that littered the bed. “I uh… wanted to apologize, for dropping off the face of the Earth last night. But I also wanted to be here. Because you’re not feeling good,” He said, turning the screen to show the picture before turning it off again and leaning forward to set the phone on the nightstand. “You didn’t deserve that. I should have been here, and I wasn’t. So, I’m sorry. Is there anything I can do? Or anything you need? I’ll lay here with you for the rest of the day and night, if that’s what you want.”

When the hoodie was offered, Gen took it, hesitating slightly before she slid it over her head. Pulling her hair to the side, she drew her knees up to her chest, resting her chin on them as Sebastian spoke. Her eyes fell to the phone, and the picture she’d posted, before the man locked the screen and set the phone aside. “Yeah. I’m cold. Don’t know why, clearly I’ve got every blanket in the place.” Shrugging, she leaned her head back as she listened to him speak. “It’s fine. I get it. You can’t be here all the time.” Shrugging, Gen dropped her eyes to her lap, her hands fidgeting as she spoke. “I mean, today was supposed to be our day, no? I wasn’t sure. Seems like I don’t hear from anyone much anymore.” Shrugging once more, she bit the inside of her cheek as she did her best to keep her forming tears at bay. “How’s Hunter?” She asked, turning her head away as a tear made its way down her cheek.

Sebastian took a breath as he made his way down the hall towards Genny’s room, a hoodie draped over one arm and his phone clasped in hand, that was open to the picture she’d posted. He could have texted her and asked if it was okay to come, and realistically he probably should have, but the caption had expressed somewhat of an open invitation. Maybe even a hint at a need for someone to be there, he wasn’t sure. He hadn’t really known what to say when she’d said she wanted to go home, and he still didn’t. He couldn’t exactly tell her not to, and asking her to stay felt selfish and like he was making things about himself and his want for her to stay, so his mind had been racing all night, and all day up until now in an attempt to figure out a way to help. After all of that, this was the best he’d come up with. Pausing in front of the door, he knocked a few times, then took a step back.

Hearing the knock at her door, Genevieve drug herself from the bed and made her way into the common area. Taking a look through her peephole and seeing it was Sebastian, she sighed, flipping the lock and throwing the door open. “Hey.” She said flatly before turning and making her way back towards her bedroom. “I don’t really feel like being out of bed right now. So, hope you’re alright hanging out in here.” Crossing her arms over her chest, she shivered slightly before crawling back into her still-warm nest of blankets. GiGi had been up nearly all night, tossing and turning, struggling with her thoughts racing a mile a minute, feeling like no matter what she did, she just couldn’t catch her breath. When she’d been left to fend for herself overnight, those thoughts truly hadn’t gotten any better, and she’d gotten to the point of sick at her stomach. This morning, she certainly felt the effects of the night. “What’s up?” Gen asked, leaning back against her pillows.

Hunter: So are you. Amazing, wonderful, beautiful. A little nervous isn't bad, it usually helps you prepare better. Mhm, I understand. It can be quite the responsibility. You don't know? Do you want to go over a couple things to be sure? I can't help much with the technicalities of it, but I can listen.

Hunter: I just had an idea. Why don't we make some scrambled eggs and toast together?

GiGi: Hunter, I...I don't know how to respond to that. People don't...I don't normally...Oh, gosh. I agree, definitely. I just don't want to hyper-focus. I do that a lot. I'm worried about psyching myself out. It is, definitely. I'm just worried. I don't know what our competition is looking like, or where the skill levels are since this is the first competition. Are you...Are you coming to it? Since it's hosted here? Bell has a duet with Mason too. It's heavy acro, but she's good at that. They'll rock it. If you want to do that, Hunter, I'd love to.

GiGi: Together? That sounds great, yes!

Hunter: Yes? ... I'm glad you feel okay. You got a competition coming up, right? How are you feeling about that?

Hunter: I do, pretty girl. Do you want to make us some or order it?

GiGi: You're...You're just amazing. That's all. I do, yeah. Saturday. It's...I'm...I'm okay. Good. A little nervous. Maybe a lot. I haven't competed in quite some time. Assistant Coaching has been a big responsibility. I'm in charge of Levi, Mason, and Jeff's trio and I...I don't know.

GiGi: Whichever you'd prefer, Sir, but you know I'm not the best cook so maybe ordering would be for the best.
